Alternatively, go to KFC, order fries, clean your facebolt with the free wipes and leave with greasy hands.

Best idea ever.

What about Defense combos? Should I just use Kerbecs?

Well, whatever Stamina combo is non-BD145, even Kerbecs is usable there.
The two you mentioned, are of course highly usable. Smile
Actually, the non-BD145 was either a rumor or probably a not-so-talked-about topic. That is why, I am not sure about it, but its seemingly good on most things.

About Defense combos, use heavy CWs. So of course, Kerbecs will do good.

Actually, you must check out th!nk's CW Guide for to-the-point details. Its not updated I guess, but you will get an idea of what to do.

So, I really, really like the look of Horogium, but I know it's unbalanced and not particularly heavy. With that in mind, just how badly would I be gimping myself if I used it over standard clear wheels in top-tier customs? I know on Flash it's not bad since it exposes its slopes fairly well, but barring that wheel, what about other Attack or Defense combos (or even Stamina, though I think I know the answer to this)?

Horogium has only ever been viable on Attack, really. Defense and Stamina really like the balance and weight distribution of Cancer, Cygnus, and Aquario. On Stamina especially, it would be particularly noticable.

There are those who will still desperately argue that CW choices don't matter or barely matter, but we do have solid testing evidence to support the idea that they do make a very large impact in many cases, and that impact will be meaningful in a competitive situation.
Horogium has its uses. On a tip that doesn't suffer too much when spinning at a slant, you won't be losing as much from the imbalance as on one that does and it's possible that you might gain something from the angle.
That said, the lack of weight compared to other clear wheels may be a hinderance.

The first bey I built that could beat Basalt 230 combos was (hasbro) Burn Horogium 130B. B to keep balance at any angle (a nessecity when being crushed by Basalt) without the agression of WB. Burn for the stamina and the smooth surface required to grind 230 untill it ran out of spin. Horogium so that any change in spin angle would be gradual (helping prevent spin loss) and so that Basalt's underside would be hitting a smoth flat surface without grip. And finally 130 to be low enough to avoid all MW contact (Basalt is near instant KO on Burn) while staying high enough to avoid scraping up until the very last moment.

Of course, that is only one use and not a competetively viable one but it illustrates the effect of Horogium quite nicely IMO aswell as making clear how it interacts with other parts.

I see it being bad on D type tips unless you want them to have a "mean streak" at the battle's end and it probably won't do your CSs any good either. Flat tips you're probably fine with but do some testing to make sure your attackers aren't finding it helps them get pushed under by the opponent, weakening their attacks and balance.

EDIT: Hazel probably knows best. I would like to finish by saying that Horogium is not a clear wheel you stick on any old bey. Horogium is a clear wheel that you build around. If you manage to make something glorious that can use it to effectively down top teir combos, great, but you can't expect to just stick it on a top teir and get the same win rate.
Hey, so my Flash and Duo came today, and I was wondering, what mode does in come in the box as? Is that the mode I use for Attack customs?
Also, about Duo what mode do I use it in for Stamina and Defense?
Gingka - Flash comes in stamina mode. That is the one where the frame sits on the core perpendicularly. Attack mode is where they align almost completely, forming a pronounced oval shape.

For stamina and defense regarding Duo, Stamina mode (achieved by placing the wedge on the underside of the frame upon the space labeled "S" on Duo's core; similarly attack mode is achieved by placing this wedge on the "A") is what you want.
Ok, thanks Fluke.
You should have redirected him to the Duo Uranus 230WD article, which is actually complete with all the information on its competitive value.
About the phantom And Aquario thing, can I just say that I found a awesome combo YESTURDAY and it doesn't lose,MF-H Phantom Aquario S130 MB. It has defeated MF-H VariAres CH120 RF and MF Duo Bull BD145 CS

Phantom isn't bad with aquario, it's just that cancer and cygnus both perform significantly better, with a massive improvement in solo spin and at least some improvement in actual testing.

That said, if you're not KOing that phantom combo with variares, you're doing something wrong, and given it's basically a stamina type, it beating a defense type isn't anything interesting. Either way, you need to back up claims like this with actual testing.
Well it's 23:45 now so I don't think I'll do testing rounds all over again, plus I never wrote down the results the first time round. Plus I was ripping VariAres to the Left, was it suppose to be used for Right? And sorry about YESTURDAY, im on an iphone
Vari is supposed to spin in the same direction as its opponent for the best damage.
Don't make bold statements like that without results then, if you don't think to record them.
Either way it should still be KOing Phantom on MB, even I can do that consistently, and my Variares is notoriously terrible (or I'm notoriously terrible with it, either way).
how much does revizer weigh?
How do you become a veteran member because well it says it on the advanced forum and I want to know how.

sir, this thread is about questions about beyblade, not the wbo

I easily found that by going to the BBG-10 Guardian Revizer 160SB thread, and searching weight in the thread.

I also just added the weights to the wiki stub, because they were somehow missing despite being known...
Has there been anymore talk about the legality of the new Zero-G beys at Tournaments?

Synchrom mode is more the thing that worries me. We had one Synchrom anti-attack combo at our BeyDays event in Detroit. It can be beaten but it is a tank. Maybe that makes it perfect because a bladers ability to adapt to it's opponent makes a bigger difference. It has just been on my mind and wondered if there was further talks about it. I've even perfected beating it with an Attack by OSing it by Tornado Stalling and the weight of Synchrom kills it's own stamina by itself so if you can avoid it you can outlast it...

Although the WBO Committee has not yet come to a conclusion on everything about Zero-G, all Metal Fight Beyblade Zero-G parts are at least going to be allowed from now on. Yes, even Synchrom Wheels, for the moment, as long as nothing dominates too much.

Zero-G Stadiums are still considered 'illegal' for now and cannot be used yet. We still have to come to a conclusion about the best way to integrate this awesome new swaying gimmick in the Beypoint System, to keep the BeyRanks as fair and representative as possible. But rest completely assured: Zero-G Stadiums will definitely be legal eventually, it's just a matter of time! As such, we encourage all hosts to have short practice sessions, either at the beginning of their tournaments or at their end, to allow Bladers to try out and become familiar with the new gimmick. When the time comes, everyone'll be ready and dying to be let loose in these new stadiums!

Since the Rulebooks currently state that Metal Fight Beyblade parts are legal, we trust that we can have a common agreement over the use of Metal Fight Beyblade Zero-G parts until one of us gets time to properly edit the rules...!

A quick look back at this thread which has a banner on the Main Page that has "Zero-G Legality Update" on it, found me this. Smile
Dude that was like a month ago before BeyDays I knew that... that's why I was wondering if their was FURTHER discussions...
That's all that's really been said as of now.

To give you a flat answer then: Nope. There has not been anymore discussion of Zero-G legality with these forums (to my knowledge anyways..) The Committee however has been discussing how they will incorporate Zero-G stadiums into the current Beypoint system. It will most likely remain that all Zero-G parts will be legal, unless a part comes out that dominates all categories.
Is there a forum that has complex beyblade launches? I'm lacking technique in my launches and need to learn a few.
Is C145 good for attack types? (BTW the C in C145 is claws and its saggitario's spin track)
