If you are under 16, it is mandatory for a parent to stay with you at this event! I cannot stress this enough. You will not be allowed to play otherwise.

It's time for our 3rd CT tournament! This time we'll be holding to tournament at Connecticon, the largest multi-genre convention in the state.

This time we'll be running two tournaments in different formats. First off will be a Zero-G format, and for the first time ever we'll be running an HMS format tournament too!

We'll have plenty of open play to accompany the tournament.

This will be the first time we have swap table available at the tournament. Bring any Beys or spare parts that you're willing to trade and we'll set aside time during registration for people to trade their stuff!

If you're interested (this is completely optional), I'll be setting up an area to create CT Blader Profiles. We'll grab your mugshot, and a short description for use in future tournament marketing.

I'll have some CT Beyblade face bolt stickers to give out to those who attend. Here's what they look like!

I'll also have limited ConnectiCon face bolt stickers to attendees of this event only.

Also, don't forget to add yourself to the BeyMap! CT needs representation! Please don't put your full address. Just city/state.

I'll be there, & I'm available to help with anything regarding the event, if need be!
put me and ultimitecrown as a maybe
just talked to my dad, confirm me!

I'll bring some Splice stuff!

Also, do you playin holding other events or stuff after this one, only because I want to knowif I should get a passport on the 25's event.
I was wondering the same thing...& does the passport cover both tournaments? I wanted to get some HMS beys for fun, for Connecticon. Also, plastics & HMS have separate tournaments, right? Just wondering in case I do get a few.

Plastic and HMS are 2 different tournaments. Passports cover all tournaments you go to within in a year, so if you have one it will cover both. This is a big step for the Connecticut community. Congrats everyone!
Passports, passports, passports! Get 'em! Thunder Dome is right. It'll cover both tournaments on the 13th of July, and any after that. I'm looking to possibly hold another in October, and continue on a 3 month basis from there on out.
Put me down as a possible. I might be able to make it down to Conneticut to visit my cousins, and I could probably drop by.
I'll be moving to Florida right after the Connecticon tournament, but if you plan on hosting one during Thanksgiving or the Holidays, you can count on me being there.
Like always, put me as possible
I'm probably going to go.
I know I probably sound stupid, but would anyone be willing to let me borrow an HMS bey at the event? I only have a few plastics (Dragoon S and Dragoon G), and I'd like to compete. I'd be really gratefull, and it would just be for the duration of the event Tongue_out
edit: I don't mean keep, I just would like to use it during the event Tongue_out
Lol I second that! I really want to participate, but I don't have any HMS. If anyone is willing, I would really appreciate that & I'd do my best to reimburse you for it somehow. If not, I'll probably just buy one or two good ones just for fun.
I've got 3 HMS, all pretty terrible. I wouldn't mind swapping them in and out with people Smile

Maybe I'll try and get my hands on some more.
Hmmm...maybe I'll just buy a Wolborg MS & see how that goes against all the customizations. If I can get a few cheap ones, swapping for parts would be fun.
I've got a Driger, Gaia Dragoon, and Draciel. The 3 most common HMS out there, and they're all usually under $10.
Lol I honestly can't spend more money on Beyblade for a while lol. Zero-G has cost me so much, the DX set alone was $30. @Rkalajian, could I just borrow one of your sucky ones?
Sure thing Smile

How are you enjoying the DX set? I just got a Dark Knight Dragooon, and am really digging it. I need more Zero-G stuff, but it makes no sense to get more since Hasbro will be sending me Shogun Steel stuff in a few months.

DX set is freaking awesome. I have all my stuff ready, in my case for Saturday. Just doing last-minute prep, but I'm pretty good Tongue_out
What Zero-G stuff do you have now? (PM so mod doesn't say its spam lol)
Thanks ^ (HMS)
What would you guys think about some kind of swap-meet like table at this event? A place at the tournament specifically for trading/buying/selling Beys and parts?
I would be interested in that. There are a few parts I could use, & I'd be willing to trade some MFB beys for HMS ones if there's something I'm interested in.
Confirm hotrodalex, joyce, adama.

I think the missus and I'll just work this time. :-)
OK, guys. I'm taking prize suggestions again. Also keep in mind I can get gift certificates, etc...

I don't think I'll be getting any HMS beys for the HMS tournaments prizes, as they're pretty expensive, so any other ideas for that would be great.

Um maybe if some Shogun Steel is out by then, it'd be cool. I think something that might be cool is if maybe the 4th got like a Beywarrior or something, if this tournament is Really big.

Maybe an Amazon gift card would be good, so people could order stuff, etc.
I've seen a few HMS beys for under $10 on Ebay, but if there isn't anything too worthwhile there, I'd definitely say Zero G, & maybe a cheap string launcher or accessory for whoever comes in first, since you can never have too many of those. Beywarriors would be pretty cool for a side prize if possible, but I think the people who place would most likely prefer something they can actually use in competition.
