i would say zen mode because i have a moveset for my darmanitan
Overheat (for zen mode, duh)
flare blitz
rest (for turning back to darmanitan(haven't tested it if it works though))
hammer arm
As soon as your HP goes above half, Darmanitan will go back to normal mode, so yes Rest would bring it back. And I would recommend Psychic over Overheat because the Sp.A drop is too much. While Zen Mode is cool and all, it's not a good ability because Darmanitan doesn't have enough bulk to get to below half health, let alone stay in it. And Zen Mode, while it has the defenses, doesn't have any speed or health to back it up. Plus, Sheer Force is a much better option, just look at my Darmanitan.

Did I mention I succeeded in my volcarona breeding project? Just levelling it to 100 for fiery dance. Damn, it's a monster, though I wish I'd stop forgetting that it isn't actually ground weak. Too many lost subway battles because of that. Seriously, being 1-0'd mostly by a stunfisk didn't make me happy.
But yeah, my team is Almost done. Not sure how good it'll be, it'd ne great in 6v6, but 3v3 is harder, as choosing 3 pokemon with perfect chemistry is hard. I probably should have made two 3-pokemon teams, but oh well. Most of them are in the 90's now, so there's always the off chance of 6v6

Welp, when I'm done and have time I'll give you a buzz. That said, I'm half the battler I was last gen, as I haven't memorised a lot of standard movesets and worked out counters.
Geez, sounds like I'm making excuses. Tbh, I'm not a huge fan of competition, but I guess after spending so much time breeding this team, I should use the damb thing :p

i knoiw i just fought a dude and i started with a very little ev trained gengar and use hypnoises on his pokemon and when he was at his last pokemon(from using dream eater)he quit and i laughed so hard.none of my pokemon fainted he couldent even damage gengar.

Can somebody tell me a good moveset for Mewtwo? Cause I'm training mine up to LVL 100 for it's last move Psystrike and I was wondering if it's worth training it that far for the attack.

I just won the tourney at my pokemon club.
I used these strategies to win.
Run From The Flames:
Use Overheat (Preferably Volcarona as the user.)
Switch out.
You Need: Overheat, User
Catch The Boomerang:
Keep using Volt Switch Or U-Turn throughout the battle.
You Need:Two pokemon of the same species (Only use THESE Pokemon in your party), Volt switch or U-turn
101 Ways To Annoy Your Opponnent
Keep using your healing moves untill you run out of PP.
Use Max Ether.
Repeat steps 1&2 untill you run out of Max Ethers.
Blast them with a Hyper Beam.
Use Heal Block.
Repeat.
You Need: A Beheeyem that knows Rest, Heal Block, Recover, Hyper Beam, and about 7 Max Ethers.

at first i left my ds on to find a battle
then i totally forgot about my ds
then when i came back, i was on my last poke with zoroark and he/she had gengar

impressive fire wyrm, volcarona is carp on defecnce but if you want offensive then you will want that Pokemon, if trained correctly of cause. what elements were the arceus'?
