Grass starter is smug as all hell.

Is it me or are the pokemon designs getting worse every time.
Apart from generation 1 and 2 there haven't been great pokemon designs lately.
In my opinion the statement that they are running out of ideas is absurd. In fact if you search throughout the world web you can find numerous sketches drawings etc of new pokemon that are very well made.

The grass starter looks sweet. This may be the first region I get the Grass Starter.

Got to agree with the general consensus that the grass starter does look awesome.
Honestly think this'll be the first time I'll go with grass over fire.

i really like all the starters, especially pokabu the fire starter, its a little fire pig which is so quite, for some reason the water starter reminds me of a piplup

I havent seen the starters yet, but Ive seen the graphics.

Same here.

The only other time I didn't choose the fire starter was in Ruby/Sapphire, simply because Treecko was such a badass.

Fire is and always will be my favorite type....But that little thing of a starter looks useless....In fact all of them look useless,I hope the EVO'S are better.

Gee, as basic stage starters, aren't they always useless...

Grass does look cool but I like the fire-type best. So happy and cute and not-ridiculous looking. Hope they still look good when they evolve....

I think it's just the expressions in the official artwork that makes them seem so unlikable, after looking at this I would probably happily take any of them.
Also just noticed that the pattern on the fire starters head is like a little candle flame.
Only speculation, but I think that as it gets bigger it'll look more and more blazing flame like.
If the same rule applies, the little sea shell on the water type will become bigger and more spiny, possibly forming a chest plate, and the grass types tail will become more plant like.

Dude I wouldn't be at all surprised if that turns out to be the Pig's or one of it's evolution's names. That sounds exactly like something they'd come up with for the English version.

Yea the battles are much more dynamic... Also the people talking to you without pressing "A" is cool.
