Serebii Wrote:Dengeki Online has revealed a brand new Pokémon game for release next year. This game Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition (ポケモン プラス ノブナガの野望 ) is due for release in Japan in Spring 2012 on Nintendo DS. Not much is known about this game yet but it appears to be an RPG game, similar to the Nobunaga Ambition games set in old Japan which are Turn-Based Strategy RPGs and labelled as a simulation. This game is a crossover between Pokémon and Nobunaga Ambition where you have to take over Japan gradually, but how Pokémon ties in, is not yet known. Details are being added as we speak. This game is set within the Ranse Region
Edit @ 03:03; More details have come in from the official site and will be added here as we translate them. At the moment, all we have are character names;
Like the main games, you can select either a male or female heroine. They both start with Eevee
Nobunaga is the main warlord who has Zekrom as his partner
Oichi is a character who helps you in the game, paired with Jigglypuff
Mitsuhude is a character teamed with Articuno
Shingen is a character teamed with Groudon
Kenshin is a character teamed with Mewtwo
More information is promised in January, indicating it'll be in CoroCoro and possibly be the game CoroCoro revealed

I'm a huge fan of Sengoku-related games such as Samurai Warriors and Sengoku Basara, so this is something I'd really like to try out. Unfortunately, how much do you guys think Nintendo won't ever bring this game over?

Edit: I take it back. Even if it's a Sengoku-related game, I will NEVER EVER play a turn-based STRATEGY RPG game. Reading up on Nobunaga's Ambition, it's type of gameplay is akin to Disgaea-esque games, Front Mission, Advanced Wars, etc.
this game sounds like itll suck
Don't judge a book(or game) by it's cover. B/W didn't suck in the end
I hope for the 6th gen pokemon game if it is released on the 3ds to have a streetpass feature that allows you to vs a computer version of the person you connected with streetpass and show their ranking of wins and loses through streetpass and wifi.
If anyone wants to have a wifi battle with me, let me know.
I'm currently looking for a shiny Tympole (my first legitimate shiny Grin). I'll be fine with anything else, though, but the shiny version of Tympole looks really nice. Smile
On a side note, I'm also training to beat the E4 second round... Audinos are getting my level 70+ team nowhere, haha.
i caught a shiny stunfish 20 minutes ago. i was ev training my brother's skarmory in hp and deffense when i ran into a shiny stunfish, and it took more than half of my pokeballs to catch the bugger cause my pokemon were too powerfull to weaken it. if anybody wants it send me a trade offer over pm.
I couldn't find my white for over half a year so I went to Target and got the one with the code to get a Lucario, good thing I haven't done any of the Global Link stuff yet
Giraton, try making a Pokemon learn False Swipe. I have my Samurott know it, and it really helps a lot.

I also have a Pokemon that can use Hypnosis, which helps a lot.
I never caught a shiny one or even seen (lol) how can I catch one?

when i mean i had a hard time capturing it is because i never planed to catch any pokemon. if i was planing to catch it i would have brought pokemon that knew moves like that and i would catch it easy. the thing was i was low on pokeballs and was ev training when i found it.

There's no trick to catching shiny pokemon, hacking doesn't count, just play a lot and go into grass a lot, and in the next year or so, you will get your self a shiny pokemon. Or you could just use mystery gift next time an event has a shiny pokemon.
next year!!!!!!! Gasp
You got to be kidding
LOL. I actually got lucky enough to find a shiny Caterpie in my Heartgold game. Female, and believe it or not, it was actually the first Pokemon that I caught. I was so happy that I caught it.
Dude, I got soo lucky in my Fire Red version a year ago. I was bored of playing Black,Diamond, Soulsilver, and platinum so i played the GBA firered. I started with Charmander and right after i got pokeballs, i saw a shiny pidgey JOLLY nature!!!! I transfered it over to Soulsliver and it had 31 ivs in speed and atk!!! o.o I WAS SSSOOO LUCKY!

he is not kidding, the chances of running into a shiny is something like 1 in over 60,000, ill just get that confirmed. it's made easier to find a shiny in platinum by using the poke-rader and looking out for sparkly grass. most players only find one shiny per game (excluding the red garyados from gold/silver/heart gold/soul silver), others never find one, very few get a shiny legendary legitimately and few find more than one shiny a game.

Actually, it's only 1/8192, according to Bulbapedia. If you keep focused on finding a shiny, you could find it in anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of months.
was about to edit that in part. you can get a higher chance of getting a shiny if you breed one with a pokemon from another country you have 75% more chance of getting another.
I've been trying to get access to the dream world in white, I have all the codes to it entered on the GL website, but it keeps saying some batter needs to charge and that I need to wait 1 day. around 24 hours later I get the same message. Can anyone please help me? I need to get my Lucario from there.
wait for 2-7 days insted of one, works for me.
anyone know if the arceus gl event needs a password?

What do you mean with another country? Do I have to trade a pokemon from France or something??

It does, and the password is ARCEUSVOTE.
Hm, I didn't even know that there was an Arceus event. Time to log on to the GL.

Hm, Hazel, I didn't know you were into Pokemon. We should battle sometime.
The reason most people did not know it is because I really do not want to battle anyone. I spent a few months in the NU/UU and Standard brackets on Smogon(using Netbattle back in the day, and Shoddybattle during DPPt), and my Pokemon are all very competitively bred/EV trained/tutored(and IV bred, in a few select cases, for high BP Hidden Powers of specific type) in DPPtHGSS and many of them in White/RSE, even though I do not battle competitively. I just like raising them... it is also funny exactly how pathetic the entire game becomes when you have properly EV-trained and proper Natured Pokemon.

Pokemon's competitive side is really just nervy and all about predicting and switching, though. If you're using EV trained Pokemon against someone without them, they may as well turn off their system and roll over. So, I do not enjoy either end of the spectrum. One side is too competitive, the other side just kind of pathetic. It's fine steamrolling NPCs to get through the game, but when it's just steamrolling people on WiFi or whatever, there really is no point... I am not a competitive person anymore.
