My favorites were always steel types (Steelix, Metagross, Dialga) but ground types come a close second. (Rhyperior, Torterra, Flygon) My first Pokemon was Turtwig.

I have a lot, so here's my dream team.
Starter: Blaziken
Eevelution: Jolteon
Legendary/Mythical: Marshadow or Zapdos
Random Poke: Weavile (my favorite) or Zoroark
Mega evolution: Salamence
Psuedo legendary: Hydreigon or Goodra

Only Gyrados and Gengar are competitive.
My favorites are Zekrom, Giratina, Rayquaza, Crobat, Zoroark, and Togekiss. My team when I battle a friend is para-flinch Togekiss, toxic/venoshock/fly/leech life Crobat, Mega Rayquaza, and the others.
BTW Megazard Y is better
Not competitively, cuz stealth rock, but in everything else

I agree, Mega Charizard Y is better

In gameplay, Y is so much better, but dies to stealth rocks, which literally every competitive player uses

I like Lucario, Charizard, Blastoise, Infernape, Blaziken, Samurott, and Greninja. Sceptile is probably my favorite though.
