One thing I'll never forget about this tournament is when I was playing against Dark_Mousy in my initial block. He was using MSF Wyvang Dragooon BD145RDF (I believe), and I was using MF Diablo Kerbecs BD145RF. The score was tied 2-2. We start the final battle, and I immediately call Reshoot Clause because my Beyblade did not launch properly ... however, right after that, Dark_Mousy's combo was somehow KOed. Needless to say, we re-did the match because I had called Reshoot
just before he was KOed, and I of course lost LOL.
I had two more losses after that, once again to Dark_Mousy–that time against a Stamina combo with my MSF Genbull Genbull F230CF–and another to Stars' MF-L Phantom Cygnus 85MF by a score of 3-2. Stars really ended up dominating this tournament, going 10-1. Everyone else had at least a few losses like I did.
This was definitely an amazing tournament. And it was arguably more competitive than the championship on the following day due to the higher concentration of competitive Bladers. These were the blocks, if any of you are interested:

BEYBLADE REVOLUTION: WBO North American Championship - 5/25/13 - Zero-G Format

Honestly, I was slightly disappointed about how generally conservative everybody was in this tournament. There were a few Bladers using Attack that I am aware of, such as Pockyx3, who made it to the finals (Top 8), but there was
a lot of Stamina, and
a lot of Duo vs. Dragooon combos. I'm not condemning anyone for taking that approach, as I can understand it given the magnitude of the tournament, but it was disappointing nevertheless. I wanted to use Attack myself, but I became more conservative as my losses started to pile up haha.
In any case, though some of the battles did become boring and excessively long, it was interesting to see how Duo Stamina combos, B:D Stamina combos, and F230CF/GCF Stamina combos interacted with each other, given how prevalent they were. This aspect of the Zero-G metagame is going to become very important, I predict. One part which surprised me, and which led to my first loss against Primus was TB. I was using MSF Genbull Genbull F230CF, and he was using MSF-H Reviser Dragooon SA165TB. Prior to this tournament, I had basically written TB off due to how bad it's balance is, but it is because of that bad balance that it is somehow able to outspin F230CF. I was shocked by how well it worked, to say the least. I'm sure some of you, besides Primus and stormscorpio1 already knew about this, but I certainly did not! Haha.
And finally, for anybody wondering, the final battle ended with a 3-2 score. stormscorpio1 used MSF-H Girago Dragooon F230GCF, and after a pep talk by me (which consisted of saying "yolo" multiple times), JesseObre agreed to use Attack and I gave him MSF-L Wyvang Dragooon SA165 (Attack Mode) GCF. The final, fifth round was so sick; just wait until you see the video.
