When you were a noob......

im still a noob and but i thought when i started that i could make burn phoenix an ultimate stamina type by putting a t125 and BS on it, i haven't tested it out but after seeing some other combos i dont think it would work anymore.
i had a storm pegasus and i thought he was the best (no other people had beys in my area) and i thought it was so fast....try a galaxy pegasus with that speed training launcher......Pure SpeedGasp
I thought Engine Gear Beyblades were the best beyblades ever.
Me? i was never a noob... Okay maybe only once or twice:
I still remember getting my First bey (generation 1 dragoon) but i didn't know how to build it back then and i put the two half halves (blade base) together straight away only to find i missed the middle bit so i took it apart again almost snapping the bits that hold all three parts together, but the attack ring was destroyed at school against 4-5 veterans bladers. But i got my revenge years later(now) only by using my twisted tempo (i totally trashed their old beys!) we are good friends now and they are thinking of getting new beys.
Man, I love when people post in this thread to say they are no longer noobs, never were noobs, or condescendingly calling others "noobs", despite consistently making poor quality posts on these forums and showing relatively limited understanding of the game.

Not aimed at anyone in particular, of course, just something I'm seeing a lot in this thread.
mine.....was when i first started i had gotten storm pegasis lightning l drago, storm aquario, and dark bull.first of all, i didnt have a stadium so i used a flat board game box and thuaght it would work.....nope.and plus thnking the ultimate combo was "maximum starblade" a>K>A dark pegasis H145 hf.yeah.i was such a newb, i named beys different names.XD
When I didn't know what exact beyblade was Dranzer F so all I did was buy ones that I thought looked like it and where blue. Still don't have one to this day. HASBRO!
My first two beys were galaxy pegasis and cyber pegasis, because I thought attack types could beat anyrthing.
I only have hasbro stadiums.
I remember when I got a Dragoon V2 I used the back to put it together. At the bottom was a picture of the whole thing assembled, and I had completely put it together. But I thought that it came with a second one or something so I was like "wtf, where's my 2nd damn dragoon v2?!"
It took me an hour to realize how stupid I was. I stared at the box for one whole hour slowly figuring that out. XD

while the first battle was up to begin,I was really nervous. and then it happened ! I pulled my striker ,one second after that my striker was knocked out ! NOOOOOOOOOOO!
RIGHT IN FRONT OF ALL AUDIENCES

Chocked_2 You apparently forgot learning about combos? AND were unlucky? what were you facing?

Lightinng L-drago

Uncustomized? If so I wouldn't be surprised either way, since those two can produce pretty big recoil. You coulda sent L-Drago FLYING if things went differently. Shame you weren't using Rock Striker D125 CS, or LLD could've kersploded Eee

If it was customized... was it... a LLD tank-ish (heavy, extremely fast) combo? If so, you got your first taste of pro combos a bit too early Chocked_2

EPIC FAIL lol... Ya should've used HF/S rather than HF for "adaption to your enemy's strategy" a.k.a. even worse grip and more self-pockets/SKOs XD

HUGE fail. In Hasbro, too! the anime causes SO many noob moments Lips_sealed

P.S. Also, I admit to still being a semi(total?)-noob.
My BIGGEST n0ob moments:
Plastic Era: I actually prefered Hasbro stadiums over the HMS Tornado Balance stadium I got as a present because my Dragoons could never escape the Hasbro stadiums and since I didn't even know of the sliding shoot technique, well lets just say that the "dragons" eventually escaped.
MFB Era: Sometimes in local tourneys I forget that my L/R launcher is still in left spin mode when I load in a right spin only bey and vice versa (I stood there for a few minutes trying to lock in the bey until I realized the launcher is in the wrong mode)
When I was a noob, I thought combos like Rock Virgo 125BS and Earth Leone GB145WD kicked total butt.

Ah, those were the days Tongue_out

though to be fair that Earth Leone combo is passable as a decent balance combo

Yeah, and with a different tip (SF? oCS?) that Rock Virgo COULD theoretically be a somewhat passable attack/attack-defense-combo-balance-thing combo, at least in a Hasbro stadium, as long as it's not up against top tier, and is in a Hasbro-only metagame...

If not, excuse me for my noobish, stubborn "Rock talk."

Congratulations, you've now got another noob moment to add to your list.
I remember the days when WD was second best for Defense. Obviously now it's silly as meteor k!ng is getting at, but that combo wasn't actually a noob thing Nuzumaki90, haha. I remember I actually prefered it over the WB one.
When i was a noob or a lil kid, i always thought the beast would come out of the beys but i found out its LIESSSSSSSSS too bad the commercial tricked me derp
lol, I'm such a noob more than half my comments are on this thread.
I launched my r2f everywhere... No wonder it's almost as thin as a paper.
I tried making the most powerful attack type Aquila stat-wise. If not for right-spin rules and overall performance, I would've had Lightning\Galaxy Aquila 100R2F
I guess I can post in here since this thread got revived.

I remember when I thought MS was the best stamina bottom ever until I found out it was outclassed by D, SD, WD, PD, and others...
Hmm when I was a noob I used to buy beyblades based on stats in the packaging and I thought C145 was the best track for attack. XD
when i laucnhed earth eagal everywhere and lost wide fence tip and always lost to carlton because of his flame libra something comob
I was a noob, when I thought launching your beyblade on cement to grind it would make your beyblade better
When I was a noob, I thought Lightning L-Drago was the best Beyblade because it said "Forbidden Bey" on the package. I also thought RF sucked and that MF Burn Libra GB145MS was the best Stamina combo ever. Yeah, I had a Hasbro stadium.

EDIT: oh yeah, and I bought Storm Capricorn because I thought it would jump like it did in the anime.

I'm still a noob by the way.
