The more you know, eh?

XD I found that out when TBD changed his name to ... freak XD
Woah. I had no idea haha
Just changed mine too, even though no one will ever bother to see it :p

So it is not the same guy who keeps on selling "hand skimmed dumps" (sounds disgusting) right?

The dumps stuff is all SPAM bots, not actual people posting them.
Oh cool. Never knew that. I changed mine, but I'm not sure if it's okay or not. PM me you're opinion if it is.

Don't worry TSO, I looked at yours... even though I have no clue what it is, hah.
It's Juri Arisugawa from Revolutionary Girl Utena. I wonder what I should change mine too...
Oh, I'm honored lol it's Juri Arisugawa from Revolutionary Girl Utena: one of my all-time favorite anime.
Your Lucy icon seems fine since there's nothing explicit about it, but maybe you should change it to another picture of her just in case?
That's my favourite picture of Lucy though, hah. I'll have a word with Kai-V later about it though.

I wonder if we have any more mysterys on this website...
I would change that. It does border on the explicit line a bit too much.
So I have a thought to counter spambots.
Every new member has to make a paragraph explaining why they joined the WBO, before being able to post. After it's approved, only then can they post.
Or a list of random numbers they have to read and copy into a box.
I hate writing paragraphs.

So the committee would have to read every single one...? That would be almost impossible.
What about a minimum of 5 posts in order to make a new thread?
Ppl will want to do they're intros....
I thought about that before I posted. Maybe that could be the only fourm available. It would cut down a bit I think.

What about having 5 posts to make any other thread except for intros.
But I never did an intro
Well we have to remember the forum has limitations.
Some forums make you wait 24 hours or post 5-10 times before you can make your own thread. It's definitely do-able, but could be a pain.
Yah, I wasn't replying to the post directly above mine, they posted the same time as me.
TBH
I think copying the random number is our best option.

I meant MODS.
Sorry xD

That would work too, but here's an example I'm talking about sending to a mod.

Example-
Hi, my name is Ninja Dark Master. My favorite Beyblade is Dark Wolf. I think he's really cool. I joined to talk to others about out interests in Beyblade!

As long as it isn't
"Ray band siqosjsnwiddjxisnwnsis random link ad wodneixndneid"
And related to Beyblade; they'd be approved to post.
Even still, do you know how many members join per day? It would be extremely difficult for anyone to constantly check for new members. There would be no time for anything else.

As long as the person sends the mod something related to Beyblade; they'd be approved. Maybe 24 hours before being able to post.
Why not just put a captcha verification...

You don't understand how many people join each day. A mod would have to constantly check and approve hundreds of members. And if for some reason a number of active mods became inactive, the list would get longer and longer, becoming overwhelming.

I'm pretty sure most SPAM bots are advanced enough to either answer or get around a captcha. They do create fake email accounts in order to confirm their accounts.

*cough* or, get banned *cough*
