WBO Facebook! + Rulebooks Changes

That’s right, the World Beyblade Organization is finally officially on Facebook!

(Click the above picture to access the Facebook Page!)

What’s in it if you’re already a Member here? Not that much since we still want to keep the discussions on here, but we’ll do our best to synchronise our announcements here with the announcements done on our Facebook Page. It’s a known fact that most kids, teenagers, and even adults spend a lot of time on Facebook, so that way you’ll be able to get updates from the WBO directly on Facebook, so you’ll know to head over here as soon as possible in order to observe the changes properly and talk about them.

Hopefully this way we’ll be able to reach out to more Bladers and the tournaments will be even more populated and fun! Who knows, perhaps other regions will start getting activity too!

We won't beg for your votes or anything, but if you like the idea, the World Beyblade Organization, the Page, then Like us on Facebook!

Additionally, we have also done some moderate changes to the Rulebooks.

Universal Rules
Standard Rules

Two modifications that are only for the Universal Rules :
  • the Salamalyon and Gryffolyon Attack Rings are now legal;
  • putting Uriel 2’s rubber tip inside Wolborg 2’s Right Spin Gear (Bearing Version 2) is now legal.

The last change was really common sense in our opinion, but it’s better not to take any chances because apparently such incidents have happened in the past :
  • if accidents take place that disturb the launch of a Blader, such as another player accidentally bumping into them while walking by, then the round is simply restarted without any penalty to either of the battling players.

That's it for now, but you can bet that part of our mysterious conversations where we let nobody know what we're on about is booked with news for the upcoming month, so stay close, and let your BeySpirit shine during this time of cold!
I already liked the page, first one besides Dark. Wink Let's get that thing going!
I'll be updating the page regularly. So like it. Or else hah

Also, the last rule update is cool too, albeit one I'm sure all sensible hosts were doing anyway.
Great to see an Official WBO page on facebook. Done promoted it already Smile
was wondering when this was going to happen, i expected it too happen, in fact im surprised it hasn't been done already, but at last the WBO is on facebook. already liked.
Nice.. once I am back on Facebook after months of deactivation(which may as well be now) I am going to promote this. And the update to the Standard rule is a good news for me... with the beylauncher most of the times I end up hitting people beside me... that wont cause a penalty anymore Joyful_3
Wow... Then. Someone made me join a fake one ...? Oh well. Hah..

Nah, there was a facebook GROUP for the WBO, it never really took off and it wasn't really that well run.
I have a question about the new reshoot rule. What if people over use this? I mean is their a limit on how many times the judge can call for a restart because of someone getting slightly nudged or bumped?

I don't know about the rest of the world, but in Australia we have something called common sense that is generally used to resolve questions and situations like this.

If someone is qualified to Judge, then they will not call that rule unless it is necessary, and when they call it, they should tell everyone to move further away from the stadium. Bumping should not happen more than once a match, because after the first time, everyone should be being more careful. However, if it does occur, it has no benefit or detriment to either player, and as such there is no need for an actual limit on it.
Thanks for the amazing rules change Kai-V, the rules are all postitive and parts are being legal now. Love the change so much. And for facebook page, sorry that I can't like it because I have quit facebook coz its addictive.

Jeez. All i wanted was a little clarification. You could of just kept the bottom paragraph.

You got your clarification. I was simply pointing out that it should have been common sense. Jeez.
