Vari Ares Discussion

Those are some pretty awesome results BeyCenter. How often, if ever, does variares scrape the stadium though?
Personally, if I could answer your question, on RF, obviously not unless a huge recoil hit happens.

Correct, BeyCenter?
Ahh okay, well I wasn't too sure because balance was an issue on variares, just wanted to be sure
There are huge balance issues on, D:D.

VariAres has small Balance loss after Mode Change.
Ahhh, okay that makes a lot more sense now, I just thought the metal wheel had severe balance issues. Thanks for clearing that up!
@ BeyCentre 30% is still quite a lot of spin when I tried it! I'm aiming for a little over 10%.

MF VariAres 85R2F v MF-H Basalt Kerbecs GB145CS (CS is worn, and relatively aggressive for the first 5 seconds)
VariAres pulled at ~95%, Basalt pulled at <15%
VariAres is in left.

VariAres won 6 (4 KO 2 OS)
Basalt won 14 (4 KO 10 OS)
11 DRAWS

VariAres win %: 30%

I did around 10 practice rounds, it was to find the weakest possible launch without Basalt just falling over itself without taking hits.
How exactly is your CS aggressive for the first 5 seconds if you shot it at 15%?
Results are realistic, though.
Well then Control_, thanks. I didn't know how weak you wanted it so i did 30%. I should be be testing right spin vari soon.

EDIT: Correct BBS

Should have mentioned I post the wearness of tips at 100%, 15% pull is quite hard to imitate. Ofcourse the CS was centered and already beginning to wobble.
It seems like a good bey from those test, I will try to get one of those soon
Vari Ares LW105MF (Left Spin) vs. MF-H Scythe Kronos T125EDS
MF Vari Ares LW105MF : 15 wins
MF-H Scythe Kronos T125EDS: 5 wins
Vari Ares win percentage: 75%
Switch T125 with BD145, and take off the MF-H (correct me if I'm wrong with this part here, I'm not entirely sure), then redo those tests. And I do believe VariAres performs better in Right spin.
I've recently received my Variares in the mail so I can do some testing. I dont have Basalt though. Any requests?
Not really.

Not any new ones I suppose. I'm testing this Saturday possibly on BD145.

I have one. I have a theory on VariAres for recoil defense (which I will explain at a later time). Please test MF-H VariAres GB145RS vs. an attacker with RF. Just make Vari go in the same direction as the attacker at all times.

I'm skeptical about this, anyhow, any special launching ways to enhance VariAres?

At the moment, no. However, if it does not work for whatever reason, I do have something that I suggest should be done in order to maximize VariAres' defense.
Hm.

I can test on CS this week if anyone wants it. I would also like to see what Bluezee recommended but on RSF

Yes RSF should do it too. Good idea.
Hmm, I've tried doing a 'recoil defense' with gravity Perseus. It's not VariAres, but it still got KO'ed too much for my liking. Any good attacker should be able to take it out with relative ease.

Although, L/R spin is my favorite; attack, defense, and stamina benefit from it. That's why gravity is my favorite wheel.
Gravity Perseus BD145RF is one fantastic combo. Anti-meta against lows attack, spin steal combined with it's weight make it difficult to outspin, and combination against 230 just make it awesome. It's pure attack isn't the best, but if you're good with attack types, you can get pretty solid KO's.
(just a side note, im not posting a new topic (or maybe there might already be one) because I don't have all the parts I need to make those tests 100% complete)

Off topic? Well that's because I'm basically requesting Vari Ares also be tested in that way. I thought the idea fit here better than in the requests topic. If you're willing to do quite a lot of tests, I'll post a list.
TESTS!:

MF-H VariAres CH120RF [RIGHT] VS. MF-H Basalt Aquario GB145CS

VariAres%age: 80% [8KO]
Basalt%age: 20% [2OS]

I have my VariAres now. I have nearly every MFB part. Multiples of some. Let me know if you want anything.

I really am starting to like this. MF VariAres GB145RF just took out MF Hell Kerbecs BD145WD, MF Basalt Aquario 230CS, Flame Bull AD145SD, Earth Horogium 85WD and MF-H Gravity Perseus D125RF. Without losing beat each one twice. Without fail. This thing is a Tank Gasp

Not to be mean or anything, but all those combos you listed lose to most attacker anyway. They are easy to KO.
Sorry Bluezee, I dont have an GB145 or RS but I agree with your point. At a meet-up I used MF-M Gravity Perseus ATK R145RS (Not mine) while I was playing against myself practising and It wouldnt move but would KO lots of things.
I could do something else though...
They were my brothers beys and I was just playing around..
