Oh
Balkesh B3 seems to be unavailable here (Germany).

I found a Spryzen S4 but am unsure because of the above comments and the price.

Also found the Master Devolos D5 together with the Forneus F5 which looks like a bargain.

What do you guys think about the Achilles A5, that is supposed to be a more attack focused blade? Or am I reading the stats on the back wrong?

And how does Rock Dragon D5 and Ogre O5 that we started our search with compare to the above?

I highly recommend this

https://www.amazon.de/Takara-Tomy-Beybla...227&sr=8-2

Comes with three Beyblades, all very good and fun to use. The only drawback is that they aren't compatible with Hasbro Beyblades. Spryzen S5 is fun, it has burst stoppers which will stop the Beyblade from bursting. It's more of a niche Beyblade. Master Develos and Forneus is a good deal, and they are decent Beyblades but I would recommend the three pack over it. Achilles A5 is more of an attack focused beyblade, yes, and Rock Dragon D5 and Roger O5 are also pretty niche. They are nice but I wouldn't recommend them.

S5 is lord and hasbro doesn’t have the burst resisters. I think you mean S4. A5 is a solid layer, I think the disk holds it back.

All hypersphere beys are more attack oriented unless they are in the hypersphere stadium. Achilles a5 I happen to own and I say the tip is a good hypersphere tip and the chip is decent. After it gets worn down a bit it can pop out when the bey bursts and it comes out easily. Overall, if you are only getting hasbro beys it's on of the better rise beys.

my son (7 years) wants to buy his first arena and Beyblades and more or less randomly picked some from Amazon.
As he had to save quite a while to afford them I wanted to check that his selection actually works together before sending out the order and found that the world of Beyblade is a lot more complicated than I thought.
I have to admit I do not fully understand it and my son does neither, so I hoped you guys could help me out with a quick look into the products and see if this makes sense as a starter pack.

The products he picked:

- Ogre O5 & Rock Dragon D5 Dual Pack (https://beyblade.fandom.com/wiki/Ogre_O5..._Dual_Pack)

- SwitchStrike Starter Pack Kreisel Beyblade Orichalcum O3, E5953ES0 (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07MY1JCY2)

- HyperSphere Beystadium (https://beyblade.fandom.com/wiki/HyperSphere_Beystadium)

My concerns:
- Do the products work together at all? Looks like they were from different systems (HyperSphere vs. SwitchStrike)
- Do we have to consider the different rotating directions or does it not matter?
- Is the arena ok? Costs so much less then the other arenas we found.

Thank you all for your help and sympathy for a family of noobs Smile

its ok we were all noobs at some point. (I started beyblade 8 1/2 years ago) I say that buy only the beyblade products of hasbro and Takara Tomy since all other are fakes. Do not buy any bey packs or any beyblade product if it says Rapidity anywhere on it.

I think you are confusing these burst beys with metal beys.

My bad your right, I was confused with S4. I would agree with you as well on the disc. The driver is also decent.
Just don't get into beyblade please because it's a waste of time if you get Hasbro beys and takara tomy is 100% better.
Harry is gonna haunt you if you get Hasbro beys

Well it’s really up to him, it’s a kid who wants to play for fun I saw hasbro because there is hypersphere and turbo beys and they have more gimmicks and fun stuff. But tbh I have more fun playing TT

We finally went with
- Orichalcum O3 (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07MY1JCY2)
- Slingshock Cross Collision Battle Set (https://www.amazon.de/BEY-BLADE-E5565EU4...B07M935LSJ)

My son is really happy and enjoys the battles a lot. The only thing I noticed is that the two beyblades that came with the set stand no chance against the Orichalcum. This stamina type mostly ignores all attack attempts and just keeps spinning until the others all have given up.

So now come christmas we´d like to expand his collection by some beyblades that actually have a chance of winning against the Orichalcum.
Are there any beyblades you can recommend, that are equally strong as the Orichalcum?
1. You know that the other two beys can be mixed right?
2. Try buying the same system beys.
3. Use hasbro beys vs hasbro beys and not vs TT because hasbro is like a "light version" of beyblades (toys) and TT ones are more real (1/2 toys and 1/2 metal/rubber, they also are very like the anime)
I hope it isn't confusing
