Im getting back into beyblade and I was wondering is Spriggan requiem is still a viable layer?
[Unanswered] Can I use Spriggan requiem competitively still
most likely not. with the release of Cho-Z, GT and now SuperKing, sR is pretty much outclassed. i hope this helped
No, it's too light.
prob not unless you use bullet from diabolos

I'll assume you're trolling. On a serious note, Spriggan Requiem isn't a horrible choice; if you copy and LS combo out there, such as 0Wall Bearing(which technically belonged to Sr first), you should have some small success. I would recommend using Xt+ instead though.

How would bullet help it? Bullet isn’t a good driver in Standard.
I found bullet to help out any layer that is otherwise outclassed by weight or not strong teeth
ex: cosmo valkyrie 10W bullet or hell salamander 0 proof bullet
Iv'e just found that bullet is highly under rated in my testing

I'm not. In my testing, bullet is extremely useful on layers with little weight or week teeth.
ill post vid link of my results when i get them.

If you're worried about weight, use Octa or Charge. I highly would not recommend Bullet here because it doesn't really give benefits that other tips can't do better.
you totally could, but its probably not the best idea with the release of the newer beys

Thank you this really helped me
It's too light to hold it's own very well, unfortunately.
nah its getting outclasssed man chi z spriggan is agood one instead
It’s pretty outclassed but you can still win some matchups with it. I’d venture to guess you could still win a few matches with Sr on Xt+ or Br. I tested it for fun against some GT stamina layers and it help up decently well. Was using Sr.7C.Xt+ Kinda gets crushed by meta attack layers tho, because of its relatively light weight.
I guess just go for whatever combo gives you the most weight? That's the only real concern, as it'll do fine in equalizing.
Use Lord Or Cho Z. Most preferably lord
You can try Sr.Rt.Br and basically spin-equalize with light/soft launching

I would agree, but its gimmick being dual-spin almost guarantees it to be broken. Unless the Spriggan this time around is more like Legend Spriggan and is more attack orientated.

I personally find Spriggan Requiem to be a relatively good part still, even with ChoZ and GT Beys out : it is balanced, compact compared to the latest Beys and it is quite versatile, and its "low" weight is easily compensated with a heavy disc and a dash driver. Of course, using Sr with Bearing is pure madness, I wouldn't recommend it.
But try using some mobile stamina (with Zephyr', Destroy') with Requiem, you may find some surprising results...

I’m guessing this new Spriggan will basically be lord version 2. There’s no way I see they will nerf Spriggan as it’s the final season and maybe the final season.
But the new Spriggan might now have much of a power gap as they can make the new blades closer in power too it to shorten the gap.

Uh, Sr on Xt+ or Br is the only way Sr will have use in today's meta. The low weight is not easily compensated(I would not even say it compensates at all, as every other bey uses a heavy disc as well, meaning the gap remains the same). I'm not sure why you would recommend mobile stamina; Sr was never known for its high stamina, and mobile stamina combos are pretty much only a burst classic thing. The only time you'll see mobile stamina in Standard is pP.Ω.Vl' or Imperial on Sp'(Both layers are basically 30g, compared to Sr which is a whole 14 grams lighter.

I recommended mobile stamina because this is the type of combo I had the best luck with, and they are easily manageable for beginners or people that are just back on Beyblade.
Br and Xt+ are far from being the only options in the meta, I tend to use these parts less and less.
