Specific info for those that get confused easily:

When: July 4th, midday till whenever people need to leave by.

Where: Regent's Park in Central London. Meet at the Ready Money Drinking Fountain because it's easy to find but shouldn't be majorly crowded. From there we can scout out a nice spot to battle.
Map of Regent's Park: http://www.royalparks.org.uk/docs/park_m...ts_map.pdf

What: Was supposed to be more of a meet and greet thing, but seeing as it looks like a load of people will turn up, we're having a MFB format tourney. Most likely BRR. There won't be any prizes though, just Faces and, uh, glory and respect and such. >.>

Either bring a packed lunch or some money for one of the cafés near by. We'll probably get some drinks later on (hopefully it'll be a nice hot day). Maybe even ice-cream. Eee

Assuming this doesn't get cancelled or postponed, I'll put up my number closer to the time. I can also put up instructions, travel help, etc, if necessary.

I don't think anything else needs to be said. Questions can be posted here or asked in PMs. I know it's near impossible for the UK lot but it'd be nice if we could keep the meaningless chatter in this thread to a minimum? Please? :X

Thanks for the awesome graphics theflightyellz!

Just in case anyone was wondering, the passport/charge rules are coming into affect immediately. This means that if you want to compete then you will have to pay a charge. For us UK bladers it's only £3 so I think you can manage. Alternatively, you could purchase a Blader Passport. You can buy them online beforehand or at the event if you're not sure how much you'll use it, etc. If for some reason you have major issues with this then hit me up a PM. :3

Also, there will be some sort of penalty if you say you turn up and then don't so don't risk it okay? If you're in the 'definites' list and you're not sure if you can come, change to the 'possibles'.

For those of you who wish to buy beyblades at the event, please see this thread: http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Anyone-s...mmer-smash
Also this post specifically if you wish to buy direct from theintoy at the event (yes that means MFB): http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Anyone-s...#pid163192

the metal wheels get scratches a lot more easily than the older ones tho, i was only at the event for an hour max and my virgo looked really worn out afterwards... (I best keep quetz 2 out of my equations if i want to admire it every once in a while =D)

the torney looked so fun... if only i could stay for longer i would definitely have entered Pinching_eyes_2
Way to go guys! The videos look very nice. The turn out was HUGE! I hope all the following tournaments will be that successful.

They were painted silver intentionally so they would look battle damaged. Hybrid Wheel System isn't painted, which is why they don't scratch.

I thought the scratched paint looked cool, honestly. My Quetz looks like I tore down a building with it.
Lol, I didnt think the photos were that good. And nice videos Lee! Grin

Really can't wait for the next tourney, I am definately coming next time (If in england Tongue_out)
quetz 2 was painted gold... TT__TT but i guess you ave a point with the silver ones

Me...? :\
Looks like a pritty big turnout and the pics are just awsome. Atleast it wasn't raining for you guys on saturday *heat+rain=no fun* you guys definatly picked a solid location for the tournament and congrats to espio for kicking butt on the day.
It did rain, so we moved under some trees which decreased the amount of water hitting us. Brad should see from the videos that i sent him that in the first vid we are in a different position from where the actual tourney took place.

No not you lol it was someone younger than you, and thanks for the complement on the vids but im tempted to take them down as i made a really good ending and it didnt show up plus the sound is off so i might edit it and put them back up but i don't think everyone will want to watch them over just for an ending lol
summer smash was funEee (i was the guy with leone, curly hair, green hoody and brown trousers) i got murked by everyone in the semi finals thoPinching_eyes_2, even tho i was ok in the rounds

Edit: btw I was the little kid that leedraciel let film, and it was only dodgey cos i was blading at the same time!!!

The rest will be up when Brad is ready, he has a lot to do over than making videos, but if people are talking about them then they mean my ones which are in my sig Wink
cool pictures but last one is a bit small
Kinomiya stop giving bad criticism and start giving constructive criticism please.
How is "the last one is a bit small" not constructive? Obviously it can't be made bigger but still....
