EVENT SCHEDULE

Our booth will be open for the majority of convention hours across all three days. We'll be running one tournament on each day, with the remainder of time dedicated to free play, side events, and training for new and intermediate Bladers.

Friday — 5 to 9 PM
  • Metal Fusion/Fight Limited Tournament: 7 PM

Saturday — 10 AM to 7 PM
  • Beyblade Burst 101: 10:30 AM
  • Beyblade Burst Tournament: 12:00 PM

Sunday — 10 AM to 3 PM
  • Heavy Metal System Tournament: 10:30 AM

GIVEAWAYS – BEYRAFFLE AND #BEYSELFIE

Enter the BeyRaffle by attending either Beyblade Burst 101 or the Beyblade Burst tournament on Saturday — preferably, both! We'll be giving away awesome prizes, just a few of which can be seen above. (The Beyblade Burst 101 raffle will prioritize new players over experienced Bladers.)

Plus, Beyblade North will have a #BeySelfie contest all of its own! Post your BeySelfie on Instagram (tagged with #BeySelfie and #WorldBeyblade) from our booth on Friday and Saturday for a chance to win a gold Xcalibur Force Xtreme (which you can pick up on Sunday – keep an eye on your Instagram comments!).

And of course, the winners of each tournament will all receive fabulous prizes.

Many prizes generously donated by Zankye's Beyblade World – check him out on YouTube!

I like this. Starting off with Limited and HMS seems nice and than ending with Standard, Team Zero G (new fun) and Plastics would be pretty cool in my opinion.

Are you suggesting a Team Osu! vs Team Day breakers Rematch! Chief - Hmm ...

It's a priority list, not a chronological one. It's very unlikely we will do tournaments for each format.
Ah ok. Than my priority list is:

Standard
(Team) Zero-G
HMS
(Team) Limited
Plastics

I also think there should be side events like last year. Time's tag team format is really fun. @[Time]
Honestly if you aren't going don't post your list ... You don't represent the opinions of the attendees. I hope you understand. Smile
Just got my weekend pass! Woohoo! Hype for AN!
Side events and anything else that's accessible to newcomers is pretty desirable.
The battle royalle we did today was so much fun, I'd love to do something like that haha.
This kind of seemed to get ignored before, but why not have Anime North be the start/end of beydays rather than the one weekend of it? It would seem to solve any hosting problems that pop up and still encourage a bunch of people to come to an.

We're always open to new ways of doing things! We'll definitely take this into consideration.
I really wanna go but I'm wondering how do get the pass and stuff there's an option to have it mailed but it's only for Canadians would you have to print it out? Ir so confused

Basically, if you do not live in Canada, you will simply have to do what everyone had been doing all these past years : line up at the Toronto Congress Center to get your pass in person. Considering that this year, they offer the novelty of shipping out passes to Canadian residents, the lines should be significantly shorter though.
Thanks 2 more questions anyone have an idea of what to tell my mom to get her to let me go and if she does anyone wanna let me sleep on the floor of there room I'm not kidding I will if someone let's me

You really need to have an honest conversation with your parents about this event. If you want to share a hotel room with someone, it's possible, but each hotel has their own policy.
I'm still looking for carpooling / hotel sharing options to cut cost, otherwise I really can't justify spending $400+ to go to the tournament.

If anyone is passing through the Detroit/Ann Arbor area, I can definitely work something out to join up with you or provide a ride the rest of the way.
Confirm me Brad, I got my tickets on Jan 2nd, flights ready, I'm excited!
See you there!
What format will it be? 3 beys or 1 bey? .-.

Right now, it would be a standard Burst-format event. 1 Bey per match.
Alright thanks
I've got my weekend pass, now all I need to work on is getting a new passport Grin

Less than 6k weekend passes left!

Oh man, I'm beyond stoked about this. First AN, first time to canada, first time to Niagara Falls, and my longest road trip ever haha XD

Are you still up for carpooling?
AN is always great, but I feel like this time around it's going to be one of the more amazing ones. I'm definitely going to try to make it.

As for preference:
HMS
Plastics
Metal Fight Limited
Zero-G
Metal Fight Standard
I kind of like the idea of this:

Friday: (Team) Limited
Saturday: Burst
Sunday: (Team) Plastics

Limited is easily the WBO's best Metal Fight Beyblade format. The metagame is well balanced and there really is nothing that is insanely hard to beat. If you ban a piece, it can very well change an entire metagame. It is very different from Standard.

I think our panels at Anime North should relate to the theme of the ''revival'' of the Beyblade franchise. It'd be awesome to have a tournament from where it all started. Plastics.

Burst is self-explanatory.
