It's been over three years since the last HMS/Plastics tournament in Toronto–BEYBLADE'S NOT DEAD! at AN08–and I think it's about time we changed that! That's why, as a part of HMS & Plastics Remembrance Day 2011, I will be hosting two tournaments! PLASTIC'S NOT DEAD!, as this thread describes, and HMS' NOT DEAD!.

Both tournaments will be occurring on the same day: PLASTIC'S NOT DEAD! at 11AM at Dufferin Grove Park, followed by HMS' NOT DEAD! at 4PM at the same location (all times are tentative; if the HMS tournament seems to become more popular before the tournament date, I will switch the times). Feel free to attend both, or just one of the tournaments!

As always, to participate in the tournament you must purchase a Blader Passport, or alternatively, you can pay $5 for a single tournament. These tournaments will not be processed for BeyPoints, however, Faces for placement will still be awarded, and as the HMS & Plastics Remembrance Day announcement thread outlined, by participating in these tournaments, you will earn extra Credits on top of the Credits that you would regularly be awarded. These will be very useful in the upcoming campaign, which should be announced very soon! Additionally, because I unfortunately will not have any physical prizes for this tournament ... the winners will be awarded two Face Boosters of their choice!:


I understand that some of you may be thinking right now, "But I don't have any Plastics ...". Since I'm sure this may be a problem for some Bladers, I'm willing to lend out a few Plastic Beyblades / Shooters + Winders to people who do not have any Plastics. If you're in need of a Beyblade to participate in this tournament, let me know, but I cannot guarantee that you will get one.

Tournament registration begins at 11am.

If you're taking the subway, get off at Dufferin Station and walk a block and a half south.
If I'm not at the entrance, chances are I've already went to the tournament grounds. Follow the path and you should find me.

Every plastic is acceptable. Even Engine Gears. As long as it's Takara, Hasbro, or Sonokong. Make sure it's not TT. Wink

For this tournament, most likely it'll be a mix of the Attack Stadium, Tornado Attack, and Tornado Balance.

Yes. Anything Takara or Hasbro manufactured with the exception of the hidden spirit Beyblades are allowed.

How long is the tournement gonna be because i know it starts at 11:00 but i have my friends birthday party at 4:00 so depending on how long it is i might go.

This tournament shouldn't take long, as most of our tournaments reach up to 4 hours max.
Plus this one most likely won't take that long, as most of the attendants, have MFB, not plastics/HMS.

Yeah, we should definitely be done before 4PM. The only reason the other tournament–HND!–was listed to start at 4PM was just in case this tournament takes longer to complete than expected, which I doubt.

It should probably amount to block round robin. I think HND will have less participants than this.
