High Park - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Standard Format MFB/BMF
It's getting colder and colder everyday! And it's going to only be getting colder approaching the solar eclipse! (On November the 13th, and not North America) Assuming we have enough attendees, this will be an official WBO tournament, so make sure to get your Blader Passport for $10 if you haven't done so already! Or, simply pay $5 if you plan on only attending FROZEN ECLIPSE.
Location:
We'll be playing in the shelter where we usually play. If you're coming to High Park via the Bloor entrance, just follow that road down on the right side and you'll see the large building/shelter on the left hand side before you reach the tennis courts. In case you guys haven't been to our regular tournaments, here is a map of High Park.

Also if you're attending, please come dressed warmly as we'll be outside for a couple of hours minimum (just because it's called FROZEN ECLIPSE doesn't mean WE want to be frozen!)
If you wish to attend please post below, I'll start gathering an attendance list.

6 people. We waited like 1 and a half hours to see if anyone else would come.
Well that really sucked.......We really need more participants next time.
Yeah, unfortunately we only ended up having six people this time. From now on, we're going to post threads in the WBO General North America Forum for potential tournaments. From those threads, once we have eight confirmed participants, then the tournament will become official. So, Toronto members, it's important that you confirm your attendance from now on! It's disappointing to everyone who does show up when none of the people on the possible attendees list end up coming ...
Anyways, we're aiming for our next tournament to be on December 28th. Pockyx3 should have the thread up for that sooner or later, and hopefully having over a months notice will help everyone free up their schedule (and convince their parents to bring them haha)!

Damn, this is sad. A lot of the formerly big communities are getting smaller to the point of not even having 8... I know that some people may be inconvenienced by tournament dates, weather, etc., but still, it's sad to see that less and less people are showing up.
Hopefully you guys can try to rebuild Toronto's tournament scene!

i came at least, but why are they mostly at high park?
Where the hell are the twenty people who came every month before.
Well, this year I didn't take a road trip with Deikailo - so I guess that's 2 down from November 2011 levels...
Seriously though, it is getting cold outside, so keep that in mind when looking at attendance levels - especially with only loosely committed parents who might be willing to spend 3 hours in the park when it's Sunny and 23°c, but not when it is overcast and a windy 9°c...

That's definitely true. There's at least four or five people I know who can't/aren't going to come until the weather improves. So, I may look into finally finding an indoor venue. That being said, it was actually a perfect fall day for a tournament! 10°c, sunny, and little to no wind! D:
