Midnight's Birthday Bash and Gotta Revive the Sway

Who's ready for some more tournaments for Toronto? Just because both B.O.D has passed and the year has almost came to the end, our bey-spirit still never dies out, no matter what! That in mind, we're back with two more events, Midnight's Birthday Bash, a Limited Format event, and Gotta Revive the Sway, a Zero-G Format event, as we've been lacking in Zero-G events in Toronto this year. That in mind, lets get on to the details!:

Sunday, October 12th, 12:00PM and 3:00PM
--------------------------------------------
High Park - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
--------------------------------------------
Both Limited and Zero-G Format
--------------------------------------------

Formats: We'll be playing in both a Limited and Zero-G Format, hopefully both being in a Block Round Robin.

Prizes: Midnight's Birthday Bash prizes will consist of Bandit Genbu F230TB, Ronin Dragoon LW160BSF and Theif Zirago WA130HF. The winner gets first choice, second gets the following, while third takes what's remaining, too. As for Gotta Revive the Sway, that will be up to the top three asking Kei what they'd like to receive.

Entry Fees: Tournament entry will cost five dollars a person, however, if an extra five is payed, a Blader Passport would be yours, along with a cool Passport Face online! Most importantly, though, free tournaments until your passport expires the following year. How cool is that, guys?

Tournament Times: Registration for Midnight's Birthday Bash will begin at 12:00, however, try to be at the shelter where we regularly play by 11:30, if you'd want to battle throughout free play. Gotta Revive the Sway will begin at 3:00, possibly even earlier depending on how long the first event is, as well.

Limited Format Ban List: This format bans certain parts for this format's official tournament play, that consist of as follows: Metal Wheel-wise, all 4D wheels (with an exception of both Jade and Omega), Basalt and Hell, track-wise, SA165, BD145, E230, and SP230, and bottom-wise, both RS and RDF. Anything not among this list shall be considered allowed or legal for official Limited Format tournament play.

Confirmed Judges: As of now, we have four confirmed judges for both events. These will be the members that will be judging your matches, making sure battles go smoothly. They will consist of as follows: Midnight, Kei, LMAO, and The Sponge. We'll most likely get more, like JesseObre and Pockyx3, for say, though these are the ones that have gathered as of now.

Side Note: We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

All questions for this tournament may be asked in this thread.

We're keeping Toronto's bey-spirit alive, your support thus far is appreciated! Let's keep this up, guys! If you wish to attend please post below, I'll start gathering an attendance list: (Click to View)

I'm hoping to see you all there the day of, everyone! Have a blast, and until then, keep on Blading!

1. During Registration, Open Your Account Page

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.

We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!

4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours

This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!

Glad to see you guys are excited, it should be when you have midnight hosting!

Also, if you have any spares that you wouldn't mind bringing, please, try your best to bring BB-10s for the Limited event's official matches, and don't forget free play in general. While mine's is in quite bad condition, I do know that a lot of you own better ones. If you are able to bring any, your help would be much appreciated!

See you all soon, everyone!
Good luck to everybody going out today!
I'll be heading out in a couple of hours. See you all there! Good luck to everyone!

Oh, also, I would really appreciate it if someone could lend me a launcher (Light Launcher, Beylauncher, doesn't really matter) for this tournament.
I may be 10 mins late. But I'll be there = )
BB-10 in hand ; )

Is there any specific reason why that's so? I'll definitely let you borrow mines, though.

OldSchool Wrote:I may be 10 mins late.

Okay, then. Worse case scenario, I guess we'll add you in.

EDIT: Anyhow, I'll be heading out in around 45 minutes, or so. See you guys soon!

I had a pretty great time today, thank you all for coming out! I had an amazing day, despite the garbage overall record of 7-11, haha. I should definitely be moving up to the low 60's once everything from the other past tournaments, though. Also, again, huge congrats to Nova for placing! You've already placed more than I ever did, lol. Expect to see the 200's coming your way, dude!

The winning combinations will be posted momentarily, as well. Hoping to see you all soon!
Im so happy that everyone came to celebrate Midnight`!
I came second in Gotta Revive The Sway!

Thanks so much Midnight` ,happy birthday!
As I was just getting ready to work on sending in the tournament's results, I noticed two things that are pretty much my fault. I'll take any warning level if necessary for the following:

To begin with, as Matthewd payed for a Blader Passport and gave me the $10, I held on to it, forgetting to give it to Kei at the end of both tournaments. In addition to that, I also forgot to ask Azhar's father, Magnetik, for the $5 entry fee, which I myself will now pay for using my own money.

My apologies, I didn't mean for this to happen. Everything will be given to Kei our following tournament.
the birthday bash was a lotof fun. too bad i wasn't able to participate in "gotta revive the sway".
congrats for the placers for the other tournament that i wasn't a part of

And happy birthday midnight and have a good one
Congrats to the placers!

It's fine, really. Just give the $10 to Kei at the next tournament or Paypal the money to the WBO.

It's not that big of a deal, haha.

Everyone, can we try not to have some of the tournaments on these dates!

It would be gladly appreciatedSmile
Those are a whole lot of dates set. We'll most likely have a tournament on November 2nd, according to LMAO, too.

Don't really worry about the winter dates, though. We traditionally have one final one at the end of the year, then take a 3-4 month hiatus, unless with manage to find an indoor venue, which doesn't regularly work out, as well.
Ok, but do you guys now what's going on with mastermind toys? would we be able to do tournaments there?

They haven't contacted me in months, plus they don't sell too many Beyblades anymore, so hosting there is out of the question.

Also, Midnight is right, the next tournament is on November 2nd, ULTIMATE BLAZE, most of the dates you said you were free are basically all Sundays, and we can basically only do tournaments on Sundays, otherwise no one will come.
HA photos! wee, wee, wee, wee, dang dong!!!!!! woot woot!!!!! YA!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry guys wasn't able to come but congrats to everybody who placed!
Hey guys, not try'in to be unpatient or anything, but does anyone know how much more time will it take for: BEYBLADE NEVER STOPS! and End of an era! to be prossesed?

Both of the event results have already been sent in; now it's up to Kei to find the time to actually process them, haha.

By the way, I should try my best to at least send in one of the events tomorrow. Hopefully, Toronto will be up to date on tournament processing soon enough, so get to it, Scott!

JesseObre Wrote:Sorry guys wasn't able to come

It sucks that you weren't able to make it, along with David. Definitely try to make it out on the 2nd, though!
