About the WBO
Tournament Style: This event will utilize Swiss format with a 32 player cap. In Swiss format, Bladers play 5 rounds. After the first round, bladers are paired based on their match history. Bladers with the highest records face each other, then the second-highest, etc. The top eight players advance to the final stage.
Tournament Format: The format for this event is Burst Classic, which is a restricted part Beyblade Burst format. Please read the rulebook prior to confirming your attendance to ensure that you or your child have the appropriate equipment to compete. Legal parts / launchers will not be lent out by event staff.
Ranked Clauses:
Location: This event will be held outdoors by the amphitheater at Herbert Von King Park. In the event that there is a high chance of rain, I will notify everyone of a cancellation no later than Friday at 6pm.
Time: Registration will begin at 11:30 AM and close at 12:00 PM. If you do not arrive at the scheduled start time, you risk being excluded from the tournament. The software we use to run our events–Challonge–does not allow us to add in extra participants once the tournament has started. Confirming your attendance on the WBO event page does not substitute for registration at the venue.
Other Information:
Please come prepared. It is helpful for both hosts and judges if all participants bring at least one Takara Tomy or Hasbro-manufactured Beyblade of their own and more than one launcher when possible. Additionally, parents of children under the age of 13 must be present for the duration of the event, as tournament end times can be difficult to estimate, and we would hate for someone to be left behind once it is over.

Hey gang - very excited for our BSC tounament in 2 weeks! Two updates:
1. Ranked clauses have been added
While these may seem like a lot at first, all ban clauses are specific to drivers, and the majority of Burst drivers will still be available—including all Single, Dual, God, and Cho-Z drivers. My hope is that these changes will encourage everyone to test the many Takara Tomy and Hasbro drivers released during Superking and DB that never had the opportunity to see competitive play. Kick, Never, Wave, Survival-SP, etc. all have the potential to be competitive here! If you are new to BSC or unsure which parts you will be allowed to use, please plan to arrive 15 minutes before registration and either or a judge or myself will be happy to help you identify usable parts.
2. Our location has changed! This event will now be held at Herbert Von King Park. We will plan to meet near the amphitheater, and play either in the amphitheater or in the surrounding grass for both tournaments. In the event that there is a high chance of rain, I will notify everyone of a cancellation no later than Friday at 6pm.

Last update - after some deliberation, I have decided to unban Dragoon & remove the Dash Stall Driver Ban clause, making Accel’, Zephyr’, Blow’, Destroy’, αssault', Fusion', Metal Accel, and Metal Fusion now available.
I'll be bringing some spare parts for anyone who might need them, I'll warn ahead of time that it's nothing too great but if you don't have enough for a full deck I'll all least be able to help that much. Looking forward to the tournament!
