After burst, we get hiatus. This happens when transitioning between generations, and yeah its usually pretty dead. But then they announce the next generation though.
Wait so hiatus is confirmed and can you tell me how the gimic works?

hold up I just noticed hiatus just means chaos omg- welp hope that the next gimic is better than burst

A hiatus is when everything is just dead. No bey releases, no gimmicks. This is the time when we're waiting for the next generation, and it usually lasts for 2-3 years I beleive.

do you think we’ll have enough people staying that we can do tournaments and an actual community to play against because it won’t be fun if there’s nobody to play against or no new beys. Really hope they do one last season as I don’t want to be returning to the hobby on the last season Unhappy
I’m really unsure on which bey I want vote for since I want a few.

Phoenix: Phi is currently the strongest villain who has not been given an evolution but I don’t know if that’s in b-176.

Ashindra: I want to give Ashindra an evolution since while Arman only cameos in Surge, he’s the only one from Rise other than Dante to physically appear in Surge and love the character.

Balkesh: Fafnir and Luinor are 2 out of 3 beys they did justice to that got bad treatment for in Rise. Balkesh is all that’s left.

Khalzar: Kurt is only one Rank below Lean.

Garuda: besides Lean, Kurt, and Boa, Ghasem is the only other one who has a rank but yet upgraded.

I honestly am stuck which one I should vote for
I want there to be an episode where all of the Legendary Bladers battle Lane in a battle royale. That would be so cool!

Unfortunately, probably not. A community to talk and have fun with would be the best thing to have though.

I feel like crying, smashing a keyboard and many other mixed emotions after that. there better be another season or people still playing beyblade. Knowing how Orlando has been going one after one tournaments with full people and even more people wanting to come I hope that we at least last a year and a half or so before tournaments die out. hold up brb gotta tell some Orlando bladers to not stop blading if the burst seasons end

Luckily it wont last forever, but it'll still suck.

what really sucks is that I didn’t get in this earlier but instead at the end of the road
You guys forget Hasbro is making Beyblade Burst Surge. That will last until near the end of 2021. Burst will still be active until around then.

wow so actually for once glad that Hasbro takes long
Seems like i picked the wrong time to start playing Beyblade.
Yeah you guys may have joined near the end of burst, but you'll be there for the start of the next generation though

I personally would prefer if this was the last season. In that vein, I'll tell you why I think this would be the last season. On the wbba app, tt shut down the appearance of new beys in the garage for this season. They reduced the number of releases drastically. Apart from the brothers and lane, the only other bladers are fan favorites. They are going back to reminisce about many special moments in the anime - like the god battle with rantaro, sisco, valt and free, the battle between aiga and drum, the one between shu and valt at their old training place. They seem to be trying hard to make valt relevant again by bringing him to the finals with lane.
The random boosters have less that average non prize beys as they seem to be including parts they have excess of.
They also don't have a Sept corocoro  special for the first time since burst started. Now, this could be because of Covid, but seeing as they are rereleasing all the corocoro specials so far, this seems unlikely.
They also don't have any more random layers and not a lot of special editions at all. All in all, they seem to be wrapping up very well.
Plus B Daman is usually the anime that replaces beyblade when beyblade ends.. (since the beginning of beyblade) And B Daman bottleman is already going to be out this month.
They also had an x10 points bonus in Aug when scanning new bey qr codes to celebrate the 5th season of beyblade burst. This may have nothing to do with the fact that this may be the last season, but it seemed relevant.
Now what you said is true.. They didn't say that the new bey would be SK or that it shouldn't be what already exists in SK. But I think they are counting on the fact that most people won't select a beyblade that already has a SK evolution. Plus, doesn't Feb usually have a special rb? Maybe this is supposed to be a prize for that. (seeing as making any plastic or metal gen remakes for them may not be possible since they may not have any special set planned for such remakes)
Let's not forget that though the last release could be in Jan, the anime would go on until March. This would be OK for them if there was a new season, but if there isn't, it makes sense that they could be trying to stuff some releases into the Feb - Mar period.

It would be too late to decide which Bey to release in Feb. They usually start designing about half year before it is released. For example, they always start designing the Beys of a new season at about Oct or even Sept. If they want to release a Beyblade in Feb but ask for customers which one they want now, that’s just too late.
Unless they are not to do a fair vote in the very beginning. Maybe they had completed everything but just use a vote event to attract people’s interest.

Its in the Corocoro issue, so you probably have to get it the issue, get the sheet, place you pick, then mail it into the Corocoro offices.
I’m actually fine with hiatus. I don’t have all of the beys, so I can use hiatus as a time to get a lot of the beys I don’t have. And then it’ll still be fun. And after hiatus ends I can make a fresh start. I’m imagining myself with like 20 boxes of beys in the next 5 years, although it’s probably not gonna happen. I will definitely have a lot more beys than I have now though after hiatus.

I don’t buy it. I was also talking about like a link that shows an advertisement for the campaign

There won’t be any since it’s a mail-in campaign.
I hope that it’s Zeus (just to make sense of the power scaling), otherwise wyvron

I think the same but what really worries me is that people will not be doing tournaments as often and that’s what keeps up my motivation or else it would have been another quick phase I had

I'm one to believe that people will try to host more tournaments during the eventual hiatus and finding other ways to keep Beyblade Burst alive such as with 3D printing showcases until the next generation.

The real question is will there even be a new generation.

that is true and it scares me so... keep buying beys so we can convince them to keep going I don’t think beyblade is dead yet in where they can’t keep going, maybe they will do a different gimic so hype goes up like in god season of burst

That is a legitimate concern, but chances are that Takara Tomy knows how well the Beyblade brand performs worldwide, and it'll be in the back of their minds while they work on other product lines. Of course, we'll have to wait a couple of years to see, but I personally think it's likely.

Yeah, I recently moved to Florida in the middle of the pandemic.
