This is my Photoshopped concept for the new Fafnir that's coming out. I noticed how the shape was very similar to the Giest fafnir concept that we got a long time ago, so i used that along with the teaser to create this.

Nice photoshop!
May 30th is the release

Where exactly are you seeing hinges?

Kind of just looks like the edges are sloped to me.
So, if we’re following the same release pattern as GT, we probably will be getting a random layer collection along with Fafnir. I think it’s safe to say that we will get a new single chassis, specifically a balance or attack one. I have a theory that there will be Four single chassis, one of each type and the only main change is the weight distribution. We can see this with 1S and 1D. All will be LR for compatibility will all rings. Now, with that in mind the next random layer collection can’t have double chassis because then it come with a disk, but it has to have Superking beyblades so there will be single chassis, and most likely a new one (this part was explaing why I thought there would be a new single chassis and attack/balance ones specifically). With ALL that in mid, what new layer do you think will release? Remember, it’s an attack or Balance type that is probably the bey of a “beyblade legend” because of the theme of defeating all the beyblade legends in the anime. I’m thinking Xcalibur or Chronos, Spriggan is probably getting it’s own release.
Chronos would make for a GREAT choice, even if, like Obelisk, it doesn't appear in the anime. This seems like a God-Series throwback, so it makes sense Chronos would appear BUT I'd die if it were actually Kukulcan or even Regulus instead.

Xcalibur would be a boring choice. Outside of Satan, all the choices have been safe.
Yes, but Xcalius is something TT would do. There would probably be metal on the sword, and even on the chip because part of the sword is there, but the chip would have horrible Burst resistance to balance it, because now we know the chip affects burst resistance. It also works with my theory, The attack type single chassis will be unbalanced, and for xcalius it makes sense for most of the weight to be on one side. Plus, Xcalius has always had a gimmick where the disk lines up with the sword, and having a single chassis allows that to be possible if it’s stock comes out with the triple booster like last time with dread bahamut. Xcalius is just something that TT would do and makes sence to have a single chassis.

With the Sparking system, the layer components with the sword could not be done properly, and would end up looking weird. Also, they did Odin in GT, a Beyblade that was not very significant in the anime. Kulkulcan and Regulus are just as possible choices here.
If they wanted to make a new xcalibur, they would most likely need to take away the sparking chip and the ring. So it would basically have 0 customization for the layer. The double chassis would have to be that traditional sword like shape. So the possibly could do one:
How? The body of the sword would be in the chip while the tip and handle of it would be in the ring,  The chip would have bad burst resistance to make up for the metal, and the sparking chip core would be like the god chip.

Because there is customization. Think about how weird it would look on other beyblades. Why do you think they chose Prime Apocalypse to not be customized? That is why.

Prime Apocalypse A5 can be customized.

Hasbro...doesn’t really care how their Beyblades look. I think that is kind of obvious by how the Hypersphere Beyblades look.

That may be, but I highly doubt that it has the Mugen lock. It only makes sense that it would have an interchangable chip, considering Hasbro's utter hatred of any gimmick, even one as simple as having rubber in a layer.

It doesnt have the lock.
I kind of want to see a Ashura evolvement.
I’d much rather see a new behemoth. Perfect for including hold’
Why not both?! Ashura deserves an upgrade. Aesthetically, it was very cool... it just didn't have much going for it in terms of Performance.

And Behemoth would be amazing! I also wouldn't mind an Evil Eye, Neptune and Trident (or at least a Poison re-colour in Trident Colours, ffs) evolution.
I honestly doubt we are getting any returning beyblades from the dual or God era unless it comes in a Random Layer product. I would hope for maybe Regulus or Chronos in a Random Layer as the prize or maybe Kerbeus or Deathscyther. Those last two would be great to see but probably unlikely considering the brought back Odin over those two back in GT.
In some quarentine-enduced boredom, I made this chart of what existing Avatars could have a Superking Chip based on them under the initial scheme the Chips use.

Some elaborations in case the chart isn't clear:
  • The green names are for Avatars that are already 100% confirmed to be in the current series (the 8 beys from the RT campaign + the four new Avatars that we've seen/know exist so far)
  • The yellow names are for Avatars that could be reintroduced into Superking with no issues (unless new Avatars are introduced that conflict with their initials).
  • The orange names are in the same boat as the yellow names, but because of the initialization scheme used for the chips (first letter + next consonant), they share the same initials as another unconfirmed Avatar (Chaos and Chronos are both Ch, etc.), so only one from each pair can be reintroduced under this scheme.
  • The red names are unconfirmed Avatars with initials that conflict with confirmed Avatars, and would thus be impossible to bring back with either recycling the same initials (creating the exact type of confusion these two-letter initials were designed to eliminate) or if they changed the initialization scheme in order to accommodate that specific Avatar (which would make having any kind of system completely arbitrary).
  • The blue names are names that are otherwise possible to be reintroduced, but have weird questions surrounding them. Specifically, how would the Artemis/Apollos/Aeclipse gimmick work with such small plastic parts that would be unwise to make split apart? How would Gaia be initialed under this scheme considering it's the only Avatar with no consonants in its name besides the first letter of the name?
With the exception of a few Avatars, there's a lot of wiggle room for the revival of old Beys in this system, which is something I prefer about Superking over GT. I don't think I'd like to see them as like, main releases though, since it's almost always more interesting to see new gimmicks introduced into a series. I think it would be nice if they replaced Random Layers with like, a "Random Chip Collection", in which each pulls is just three or four Superking Chips which can consist of both recolors of older Chips and Chips based on these older Avatars. The Superking Chips in this series are a lot more like Clear Wheels from MFB, so they can easily just recycle the "standard" lock design that they've used so far on Hyperion, Helios, Ragnaruk, and Satan. It would be an easy way to revive the older Avatars without needing to pour in a bunch of R&D into making new Rings or whatever to justify their existence.

Those last two would be great to see but probably unlikely considering the brought back Odin over those two back in GT.

Odin never had a God Layer upgrade let alone a Chouzetsu version, so it might be too early to lose hope for a Sparking Deathscyther (like, double moving scythes are doable despite probably being as useless as its God counterpart). Regulus might also have a chance, as long as there is space to fit a similar gimmick onto the Ring. Chronos is basically like a right spin King Ring in appearance, but the weight-shifting gimmick might still be translatable into the Sparking System. Kerbeus would be nice (like, incorporate Bounding gimmick with POM contact points), but I'd like to see Wyvern have a spot with an upgrade this time.

From what I can see though, the structural integrity and design trend of the original Burst Bladers' Beys into Sparking System has become cheaper and weak (looking at Glide and Curse basically, cuz Brave is a beast and I'm not complaining on it), and I hope they start to improve on those as it is already expensive as it is to acquire TT Beys (further aggravated by the pandemic) and it would be a bummer to have to buy again just to enjoy seeing the gimmicks in action.
