Other Information:
Please come prepared. It is helpful for both hosts and judges if all participants bring at least one Takara Tomy or Hasbro-manufactured Beyblade of their own and more than one launcher when possible. Additionally, parents of children under the age of 13 must be present for the duration of the event, as tournament end times can be difficult to estimate, and we would hate for someone to be left behind once it is over.

Be aware of your belongings. We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

All players must arrive on-time. The tournament will begin no later than 1:00 PM and is expected to run for about 3 hours, though if there is a large turnout it may take longer. Please plan accordingly. If you do not arrive at the scheduled start time, you risk being excluded from the tournament. The software we use to run our events–Challonge–does not allow us to add in extra participants once the tournament has started.

If you know in advance that you will be late, please post in this thread or contact someone at the event and depending on the circumstances we can perhaps still include you if we know you will arrive soon.

Need-to-Know Information

1. During Registration, Open Your Account Page

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.

2. Arrive On Time

You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.

3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings

We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!

4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours

This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!

5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called

Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!

How's this venue Yami? Also, did you want a player cap, or nah?

Ah yes slide that 32 people cap.

It's pretty small but there's 2 other rooms where we can throw the blader for Freeplay and the main area for tournament.
YES BURST CLASSIC NEAR ME THANK YOU YAMI

I'll see what I have planned. Hopefully nothing. Hope I don't forget
Are there any left spin layers in dual layer other than lost Longinus

All Burst dragoons except Victory are allowed and are left spin.
Probably can’t go. Very sad. Well, Ifritor Yell Revolve will have to wait
This is around 4 hours away I’ll see if I can convince my dad to take me
it'll be a pretty long drive. But i'll come.

It's 4 hours to get there, and 4 hours to get back. That might be difficult to convince someone to drive you to.

Talked to my mom about it since it doesn't go far like into Baltimore hopefully I could go.
I wish I could come! Hope everyone enjoys the tourney!
I am soo excited can’t wait
Aw dang probably can’t make it

But can you still put me on the waiting list in case I can come
It's up to Yami, but usually we don't have waitlists ahead of time, only at the tournament the day of.
My son is 9 yrs old and very new to this tournament. We are from Virginia/Washington DC area. Can he participate in the Maryland tournament on Jan 25th?

As you can see, the registrations for this tournament are capped at 32 people. So he doesn't have a guaranteed slot in the tournament if you show up.

However, if you show up at the tournament early enough, he can get on the waitlist, and Possibly get into the tournament. In the past, I would have said that we usually have enough no-shows that he shouldn't worry about it and would probably get to participate (no guarantees), but at my last tournament only 4 people registered didn't show up and we had a waitlist of 7 people; 3 didn't get to participate.

You can go to the tournament and MIGHT be able to participate, but nothing is guaranteed. There is no substitute for registering for the tournament before it caps. And this particular venue has some space problems, we can't raise the cap.

EDIT:
Here's a friendly reminder to everyone, at the moment,
THIS IS A BURST CLASSIC FORMAT TOURNAMENT!
And if you don't know what that means, you should definitely read the rules and consult the parts spreadsheet.
https://drive.google.com/open?id=13dKtCf...7B3-wyD1YY
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1...sp=sharing

If you show up without parts legal for the format, you might not be able to participate! If you aren't going to go through the effort of ensuring that you have valid parts for the format, you should consider deregistering.
Thank you. We will try to get there. Even if he can't participate, he can have some experience around. Thanks
Sorry don't think I can participate, maybe next time
Ok finally I am back lol
By the way if anyone is gonna be selling TT Classic parts (preferably layers) at the tournament please let me know
Edit Reason: I found out I could go -->
I just found out I can go
Can we join the tournament or is there a waitlist??
