Fine, fed on a plate, ripchord pre-slotted.

I'm not related to Bladestorm.
Never said you were....Said he could take him or a family member, maybe the word "other" fooled you.

Have no idea what the first line meant Confused
BeyJun can come with Bladestorm or another family member.

That's your exact wording, read it.

EDIT: It means I have to soon-feed you information.
Please don't ruin it for others who have things to say about the tournament - just a polite reminder that we shouldn't have to risk this thread being closed because of our banter.
Like I said, it will all result to spam so I agree with BS. Lets move it too SKYPE!
I saw the videos and I have to say that I am extremely disappointed. That 230CS issue continues over there. Counters have been created and are usuable. Why do these tournaments constantly end up in stamina final matches? It really makes the UK look bad as bladers because people seem to not be skilled enough to use the counters and win, especially with attackers. It's like I very rarely see any movement in battles from these UK tournaments now and it is really disappointing. Congratulations to BladeStorm by the way.
sorry to kinda being off topic but i saw a lot of basalt____230 cs and i dont have cs i have rsf and rs and i want to no which is better cs or rs or rsf

Ok so I guess your Blackdark on Youtube so I've replied to you on there anyway but here you go -

1. In this group no Basalt 230CS were used, there was a Basalt 230D/DS and a Basalt TH170CS.
2. Most of the kids don't even look at the WBO for competitive combos they just go with the combo they like.
3. Gravity Perseus BD145HF/S beat the Basalt TH170CS by KO each time.
4. The Basalt 230D/DS was beat by Meteo LDrago 145WD
5. an out-dated attack type was used in the group and fail miserably against a Libra combo.

In the final matches Control_ used MF Hell Leone BD145RF which didn't work so well, I have to admit that the launches weren't so great...

But anyway the UK meta game has always been based around Stamina since I can remember and I honestly feel it's getting better now than it was before.
Well done everyone (especially Bladestorm and Cyber Kerberous)!

I feel the same way dude. I don't really understand it. I used Hell Kerbecs BD145RF and did very well nearly making it to the finals.

ControL_ would of won that Match if a Sliding shoot was Performed. Im sure he can its Probably just Tourney Nerves or something.

I actually think MLD TH170Stamina Bottom could be a Very Viable combo.

*Cough*Control_*Cough* for his string on 2nd places.

UK bladers tend to use stamina types because Basalt is very common here aswel as many heavy Beys. I just don't think we have the guts to use attack types because there is a high chance we will lose. I have noticed that in some free battles people say that they are practising their sliding shot but in the tournament I see them using a stamina type and shooting it in the middle of the stadium.

Maybe it is because we don't have enough motivation or maybe we are lazy.

Thanks Bluezee, congratz to your win as well. I think that the pure usage of "Attack" does not directly equal skill. I only try to KO when I do not have the means to win via outspin.

I dunno, my combo was quite heavier than his. He also mentioned the RF as a problem - He was using my RF in the group stages and this was a different one. Also, my combo was low enough for many of the collisions to be between his BD145 and the top of Basalt. Also I was using FS, so whenever elastic collision would occur, the outer F circumference would accelerate the beyblade away in a circular path rather than a linear one if the bottom was defence series. But yeah, ControL_ should have maybe placed his combo on the tornado ridge for maximum gravitational potential energy.

Round 1, ControL_ did execute a sliding shoot but it didn't go in his favour.

Round 2, both combos collided instantaneously; therefore distorting ControL_'s flower pattern. In that collision, since my mass is heavier and had to be accelerated from relative equilibribrium all the way to the tornado ridge - he must have lost his initial movement pattern (Newton's 3rd law).

Round 3, the collision was not instantaneous; I was fortunately pushed into the outer F circumference meaning that the probability of elastic collision would have been reduced.

But in all fairness, you didn't get to the finals with it Confused

I'm not saying I'm any better, but You have to have a good attack type to get anywhere tbh

Thanks Enzo, Cyber Kerbeous was extremely creative! In the first round though - I was fortunate that he decide to launch near the wall and not the centre - I would not have gotten the KO using the HF column as extra friction. I'm very lucky in our second round match not to be on the end of his gattyaki - as I'm attempting to do the same thing in round 1, but on the opposite side, and failed to reach the tornado ridge.
Also, note that there was stalling reminiscent of the HMS Dual shooters, for strategic dominance as we could both switch spin direction. The match could have easily gone his way had I didn't get lucky matching his spin direction every time we stalled. A less skilled blader wouldn't have realised that the critical factor was spin-direction.

I really hope I've shown enough insight behind the physics for "Attack bladers" to understand that it isnt all to do with sliding shoot, but also placement and utilising every inch of the stadium and every facet of your beyblade.

Haha every time I tried to be sneaky and switch launcher direction, you predicted the on I'd use, then change it, etc.

I couldn't stop smiling though, I'd be so bad at poker =_=

The way you say that makes me sound really bad. I was only three rounds away from the finals. If I had won those I would have been in the finals... Also it was only three because Beyjun was so good that he hasn't lost yet up till then so you needed to beat him twice to knock him out. Hell Kerbecs BD145RF is a good attack combo. I only lost two rounds the whole time. That was partially luck/stupidity. The first match I lost was wierd. I never would have guessed the Basalt ____ AD145RS would be able to counter my Hell Kerbecs attack combo so well. Maybe I messed up my sliding shoot but damn Beyjun crushed me with that combo. Also if i'd switched to a defence combo when playing control I probably would have won that match and gone on play Beyjun. Oh well my beypoints should still get a nice boost from how well I did.

This is no evidence whatsoever and is in no way sarcastic: I played a total of 6 matches, 4 of them being in the group stages. Dropping into the L bracket made you play more matches, but 3 matches away from the finals... come on.
