Admission
cash
We now know that the tournament will definitely go ahead. We have one possible venue at the moment:

Location:
ExCeL
Royal Victoria Dock
London,
E16 1XL, UK

Your hosts:
Me (ChozenBlader)
TheGigsMeister

Judges:
Blitz
Gekiryu

The time of day and the specific date are still to be decided, but for any suggestions towards running the tourney, or if you want to apply to be a judge, say so here.

Tournament setup:
There will be a plastics division, MFB Division and HMS division. The winners will get prizes (but we do not know what the prizes will be as of yet). Also, there will be a free-play section as well, for those who want to test combos or simply blade for the sake of it.

The matches will run on the point system. [/b]

For the record, according to the rules, if you break your opponents blade, you win instantly (although I must stress, please don't try to do this on purpose)

There may be a small entrance fee to pay for the prize. The amount is undecided.
Feel free to suggest any ideas.

IMPORTANT: There will be a blacklist. If your name is added to it, you will not be allowed to attend the tourney. This is to prevent trouble makers from spoiling the event.

Also, please, if you can, bring a stadium with you. The more stadiums we have, the more battles we can have at one time. Please note: Only Takara stadiums are legal for competitive play.

You will be allowed to buy and sell beyblades at the tournament. Just make sure your prices aren't outrageous Wink

Sure, which one would you like? What sort of wrapping paper would you like?

Whatever prizes there are are going to be decided by availability and financing. Of course, if you'd like to assist us, feel free to make a donation.

is it possible if you can get either the pegasis prototype, the Quetzalcoatl or both?

I was being sarcastic. They'll get what they can. Personally, I (and I imagine most people) would rather get a bunch of boosters than one Quetzalcoatl.

I dunno if they know much about beyblading as a hobby or they just like the anime but they should be fun anyways. If they do just like the anime then that means a few easy wins for us, right? Smile And then they said they'd try an inform other beyblade fans that they knew and I'll be doing the same so.......hopefully the word wil spread around quickly. And then I'll go back and try to see how many people they know that can come and the same for my friends and contacts. Smile

when i have talked to them they don't seem to know much about the sport side of things. they just like to cosplay the anime, most of them are girls (apart from me) THEY ARE NOT DRAGGING ME INTO YAOI!
Lol. As a guy cosplaying Max I wouldn't see the yaoi fangirls as a problem.....you get to make out with whoever's crossplaying right?

Still, they said they were interested though. Smile

I have already emailed the MCM but I still have no reply. I will send them an email again. I'm not sure that they take us seriously. Maybe if other members wrote a serious email to them they may realise we are serious.

I think that the MCM Expo in May would be the most suitable date for this event. However, we really need to get in contatc with MCM. As I mentioned above, I have contacted them but I still have no reply.
So were will this tournament be held at then.
My god, do people not know how to read the first post. Click this link: http://worldbeyblade.org/thread-1913-pos...l#pid62573, if you know how to click links that is...
ooh I just had an idea!
If you win in the plastic div then u should get plastics
if u win in the hms div u should get hms
if u win in the mfb div u should get mfb

Oh dear.....how long ago did you email them? Hopefull it's just because it's a while away yet.....though I could see why they may not take us seriously.....but still I dunno if we should write lots of letters. That makes it sound a bit like a petition and we don't wanna get their backs up. Maybe we could ask Brad or someone with contacts to refer us or something?
But yeah, I think it should be held at the MCM Expo. I sure that's somewhere in the middle of my GCSE's but it still sounds like the best time. XD

Brad is in Canada/USA. He wouldn't have any contacts for a UK expo. As a last resort I could speak to Carl at theINtoy, but I could be pushing it a bit as they already host my site lol.
I guess.....I just figured someone would know like important beyblade people or something. XD Guess we should just write a really awesome letter. Uncertain Though not without ChozenBlader and TheGigsMeister as it's kinda their tourney. XD
If you'd like me to contact them, I will.
Well only if you think it'll help. And probably best to wait for a bit until everyone is working toggether.
My Sister wants to come along with me as well so thats another person to the list, she doesn't know anything about beyblading but i'll try teach her a thing or two lol.
Awesome! How old is she? Smile

Wow haha. I had a twelve year old in my head. XD Thats great though. Smile
Lol she doesn't understand why I play but she wants to come along anyway. She probs won't want to play but i'll make her lol.
Does she like other anime and stuff then or would she be coming purely for the beyblades?
