MUST READ: COVID-19 Requirements in Effect
Due to COVID-19, all tournament participants and attendees are required to abide by the requirements linked below. If you do not, you may be asked to leave the tournament area. Thank you for your understanding and stay safe!

Please see additional event information and any local or federal requirements below.

NC bladers, after four months without WBO Beyblade tournaments, I am hosting one of the first (if not the first) tournaments since they stopped in mid March of 2020. Of course, only 10 participants will be allowed due to the limitations this pandemic has on events in NC.

Thanks to #Fafniror the tournament name.

Precautions
This pandemic is still going on, and because of it, I want to take the following precautions:

1. Wear a mask/face covering at all times during the event.

2. Practice social distancing at all times, except when you are doing the countdown and launching in the tournament.

3. Do not touch another person’s Beyblades/launchers/stadiums.

4. Make sure to bring only one other person with you. The maximum for events is 24 according to the North Carolina governor, and that number includes family members, so we want to keep this number as low as possible and not exceed 24.

5. If you are sick, please do not come.

Tournament Format
This tournament will be run with the Round Robin format. This means that every Blader faces off against every other Blader. The top four advance to the finals using single elimination.

Tournament Time
This tournament starts at 1:00 PM. This means you should get here between 12:30 PM and 12:45 PM, since that is when registration will start. Registration closes at 1:00 PM, so make sure to be there before then.

Tournament Fee
This tournament costs $5 to enter. Make sure to have $5 when you come to this tournament and register.

Also, if you have a TT standard stadium, make sure to bring one. We don’t necessarily need one since I do have one we will use, but it can help make the tournament go faster.

Prizes
B-168 Booster Rage Longinus Destroy’ 3A

The address has been changed! Hopefully now the address is more specific on the exact location of the venue now, so hopefully no one will have issues getting there.
I've decided to bring my nice camera for the event if anyone wants shots of their combos. i'm also bringing my home made stadium if people want pics or short vids of their blades running around in that thing.

I don’t think people are allowed to use other people’s stadiums outside of the tournament stadiums unfortunately. Camera wise that should be fine as long as you guys stay six feet apart from each other.

it hit me a little after i posted this that my multi-player stadium might not be the best idea to bring as a casual thing to this tournament just for fun between rounds. I may still bring it to get notes on the design and ideas on how to make the next one better.

No, it cannot. I apologize if you cannot come, however I heard of one that could be happening soon in Matthews NC if you wanna wait for that.

Unfortunately, not a good idea to bring extra Beystadiums for free-play until the COVID-19 situation is handled.

understood. bearing that in mind is there a thread on here where i could post pictures of my custom stadium for peer review and notes? with the colder months approaching now i'm hoping to have a few handy projects to work on and i'd love to improve this stadium design for when it is allowed at tournaments for casual play.

The Your Creations subforum would be ideal for that. You could make a fresh thread to show off this stadium you've built.

Thank you for letting us know. It appears DC has taken you off the tournament list.

Edit: Looks like it wasn’t DC. Nevermind.
Wasn't me. You know there's other staff out there who read the forums who you can ask. Smile
I am on my way to the venue. See you guys soon.
Good luck today! Hope everything goes smoothly!
Good luck BuilderROB!

Thanks Jdog. This tournament was a lot of fun to play in, and I owe a great deal of thanks to the wbo community and discord for all the help and advice going into this event. I also want to thank ROB for taking the time to put this event together for us, and for making sure we kept up with the cdc guidelines. This was also my first time judging an event which was a really fun and exciting experience, and I’d love to judge more events in the western North Carolina area!
