SoCal Winter League:
Hello SoCal! Me and BeybladerNick collaborate to bring you the biggest championship of the season! Presenting the SoCal League! Prepare to battle for a chance to win one of the most coveted prized beys of all, the golden metal coated Wizard Rod!
Taking place over the course of 7 events (6 qualifiers + the final showdown), you will have the opportunity to earn points and rank on a leaderboard. In each of these events, the “Point Distribution System” as described below will apply. At the end of the 6 qualifying events, the top 24 bladers with the most amount of points will qualify for the final showdown, where they will battle it out for the golden Wizard Rod.
Everyone who participates in these events will be automatically added to the leaderboard, there is nothing required on your end. Some of the qualifier events will be standalone tournaments, while others will be partnered up with already existing large scale tournaments.
Point Distribution System:
• All Bladers earn 1 point by winning a match
• 2 points for placing 5th-8th
• 3 bonus points for placing 4th
• 4.5 bonus points for placing 3rd
• 6 bonus points for placing 2nd
• 8 bonus points for placing 1st
-In the case of a 16 player final stage, players who place 9th-16th will be given 1 bonus point
-Final stage matches will not be awarded points for a match win. The only points given will be based on placement.
A tie breaker will be determined by:
1. Head to head wins
2. Number of total placements in final stage
3. Point differential
4. Total losses (not including final stage)
