About the WBO
** SoCal's Qualifer Tournament for Nightwing's Blader's Kingdom Regional Tournament **
Back in 2021-2022 the popular Beyblade YouTuber "Nightwing's Beyblade or Burst" did a tournament series called “Blader's Kingdom” where the Blader’s Kingdom series acted like an invitational for a bigger tournament at the end of the season and this year, he is planning to bring it back. He has personally asked me and other members of the community for help so I will be hosting the regional Qualifier here in SoCal. This will be edited to work with X and make it where you can wager 3 coins maximum at a time. The links to the YouTube video and google docs are below if you want to understand what it is. There are also pictures posted. SoCal’s Blader’s Kingdom Regional event is on March 15th in Lakewood at Del Valle Park. The cap will be 36 people with a waitlist if needed.

11:30am - 11:50am: Sign In
11: 50am - 12pm: Hand out tokens and go over rules
12pm: Start Time
12pm - 12:40pm First Round of Blading
12:40pm - 12:50pm: Break for food/restroom
12:50pm - 1:30pm: Second Round of Blading
1:30 on: Gather coins and determine Top 8 and finals 3on3 Double Elimination First to 7 points for Top 8
At 11:40am (20 minutes before my tournament starts) during check in my Dad is going to host a first to 1 point (Doesn’t matter the point) king of the hill where the winner wins a jar of his honey as a prize.
We will be using as many different unique X stadiums as possible for main phase and the regular Takara Tomy Xtreme stadium for finals
Banned Parts:
Metal Needle: It damages stadiums
Optional Rules Applied:
Own Finish: If you self KO into either an Over pocket or Xtreme pocket without your Beyblade making contact with your opponents Beyblade it is 1 point against you and you relaunch with the same Beyblade.
How this tournament works is that during the First and Second Round of Blading you can challenge anyone you want. They MUST accept the challenge unless they have already lost to you and they haven’t battled in the last 10 minutes. Everyone is given 6 coins from the beginning and you wager those coins during your matches. The top 8 people with the most coins go to finals. If you run out of coins you are eliminated from the tournament.
The matches will be a 3v3 first to 5 points matches with no repeating parts. When you get to a stadium you will exchange decks with your opponent to check if there are any repeating parts or fake Beyblades and then you give the deck back to your opponent. The ways on how to get points are below. You can wager up to 3 coins maximum during 1 match and if you can’t agree on a number of coins it will default to 1 coin. The first stage is on an honor system since there will be no judges for the main stage. If you have any problems come find either a SoCal judge or the organizer (DratiniKing10) and we will help you out. Try to record your matches if at all possible so if an issue occurs one of the people listed above can look over it.
Players are required to battle at least ONCE every 10 minutes and must check off on the provided clipboard that they have battled within the given 10-minute time frame. If it is discovered that a player has not followed this system, they risk disqualification. A player may decline any number of challenges so long as they have battled at least once in the last 10 minutes.
Points for Main Phase:
Spin Finish (The Beyblade stops spinning): 1 point
Over Finish (The Beyblade goes into the 2 little pockets in the Xtreme, Hasbro Xtreme, and Double Xtreme or the big pocket in the wide Xtreme): 2 points
Burst Finish (The Beyblade falls apart during battle): 2 points
Xtreme Finish (The Beyblade goes into the big pocket in the Xtreme, Hasbro Xtreme, and Double Xtreme or the 2 little pockets on the wide Xtreme): 3 points
Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
Prizes:
1st: $30 Beysandbricks Credit + $10 Beylocker Credit
2nd: $20 Beysandbricks Credit + $10 Beylocker Credit
3rd: $10 Beysandbricks Credit+ $10 Beylocker Credit
The people who get top 3 are qualified for the end of the season invitational tournament hosted by Nightwing in Maryland
