Thanks Rusty, I have always wanted to test but only recently got my hands on a TT Attack stadium when I went to Bali on holiday (I got it for $20 paired with an Earth Eagle, sweet ). I still don't have a large supply of parts, but enough to do some basic testing on relatively simple combo's. Speaking of simple combo's, I have some more results for Scythe on a low spin track as a defense type. Same conditions as stated before;

All tests are in a legal Takara Tomy Attack stadium
I used Hasbro Metallic Red Beylauncher and TT MeteoLDrago left spin beylauncher
Attack types were launched 2nd and LDrago is always in attack mode, as such Scythe is always in stamina
I launched Scythe first in all tests
I do not have a BD145, so I used SW145 as I replacement (its the best I have)
I used MF for its extra stamina
RSF slightly worn
All launches were at 100% power
All shots for attack types were banked

My RF that I have used in these tests is quite worn

Scythe Win = 10 (All OS)
LDrago Win = 0
Scythe Win Rate= 100%

Scythe does it again, I need to test on a less worn RF (this particular one is possibly so worn it affects it's performance). I know you are meant to do 20 rounds, but seriously, when you are getting results like this is there really a need? When I next catch up with RowDog I will do some Hell, BD145 and R2F testing against this combo. But until then, its looking good. I may even use this for my next tourney :\

Scythe has decent upper smash. At a meet-up I used MF-H Scythe Kerbecs 85RF and beat many Left Spin attack combos like Gravity Perseus D125RF and others like Basalt Cancer GB145MF

Hey guys; sorry I haven't been uploading any tests lately but (now, I am going to have to use the lamest excuse in the book here), my dog ate my beylauncher. He actually did, while I was out he ran into my room, grabbed the launcher and it is now his new favorite toy. Scythe overall win percentage: 37%

Unsurprisingly, Basalt had a higher KO rate when at an equal or lower height to Scythe.

I decided not to re-do KOs because a) They were much too frequent and b) Rather than trying necessarily to prove which has better Stamina, I was going for results which are realistic. That said, I would lean towards saying that Basalt still has superior Stamina by a small margin, and that, it is slightly better at rotating for those important extra few moments once it has toppled over. However, this could very well be reversed in tests done by other people, so I'd be interested to see more tests of Scythe TH170 vs. Basalt TH170.

Too bad I don't have a TH170, although I may be getting it in the next few weeks if it comes in my Random Booster Vol. 7 I have ordered (fat chance, but I can hope)

I don't mean to intrude or repeat anything, but I've read on Ga's thread about MF-H Scythe Kronos 90CS, and it seems to have good results against BD145's and Basalt 230's. I apologize for not linking it, but I don't know how to do that on an iPod

65% not bad at the end of the day Scythes pure stamina got the better of Basalt Although Basalt's aggressive movement usually moved Scythe enough to KO it.
Basalt also had some luck to Knock scythe off balance and cause it to scrape so EDS is the better option.

Vari Ares D Left Flat vs Scythe Lacerta D125HF
Now I know Ill whip some newbies.

That is a hasbro stadium and not a proper BB-10, so that test belongs in the Hasbro Stadium Testing thread. Why Lacerta? Use Bull and the such. Hf is an outdated attack tip, as is flat. I good test would be
Vari Ares 90/100RF vs. ScytheBull90/100RS or
Vari Area BD145FR vs ScytheBull90/100RS

Yeah , but BD145 is still a good choice it is probably on par with GB145. Yes upper.
