Here are just some tests to see how scythe performs on various heights and tips:
Notes/Conditions:
All tests are in a legal Takara Tomy Attack stadium
I used Hasbro Metallic Red Beylauncher and TT MeteoLDrago left spin beylauncher
Attack types were launched 2nd and LDrago is always in attack mode, as such Scythe is always in stamina
I launched Scythe first in all tests
I do not have a BD145, so I used SW145 as I replacement (its the best I have)
I used MF for its extra stamina
RSF slightly worn
All launches were at 100% power
All shots for attack types were banked
ScytheKronosAD145WD vs. EarthBullDF145WD
Scythe Win =100% (all OS)
ScytheKronosAD145WD vs. LightningLDragoSW145MF
Scythe Win = 60% (2 SKO, 7 OS)
LDrago Win = 40% (All KO)
ScytheKronosAD145EDS vs. LightningLDragoSW145MF
Scythe Win = 60% (3 SKO, 6 OS)
LDrago Win = 40% (All KO)
ScytheKronosT125EDS vs. LightningLDragoSW145MF
Scythe Win = 70% (All OS)
LDrago Win = 30% (All KO)
ScytheKronosT125RSF vs. LightningLDragoSW145MF
Scythe Win = 100% (All OS)
ScytheKronos100EDS vs. LightningLDragoSW145MF
Scythe Win = 90% (1 SKO, 8 OS)
LDrago Win = 10% (1 KO)
ScytheKronos100RSF vs. LightningLDragoSW145MF
Scythe Win = 100% (All OS)
My Notes on the Results:
It seems that as Scythe's height lowered, it's results steadily improved. I have done some more testing on the 100 spin track and RSF (Rubber Semi-Flat) tip and I think it has potential, but it needs further testing. Scythe seems to excel in the lower height with its free spinning PC frame because as it is knocked off balance, the attacking bey has more and more contact with the PC frame, greatly reducing smash attack (ie, being pushed to the edge of the stadium) and doing little damage to the beys rotation speed. Only when the two fusion wheels made contact did scythe get KO'ed, but more than often the PC frame made contact and reduced the blow to nothing. When on a low height with the EDS (Eternal Defense Sharp) it got but off balance badly, and scraped. Same goes with WD, even though I have decided not to publish the tests (they were too close to EDS'). With RSF, it prevented it being put to far off balance and only allowed just enough tilting to make the attacking bey have contact with the PC frame. So I think that ScytheKronos100RSF has potential as a defense bey.
