Regents Rumble

In the same style as SummerSmash, (for those of you that managed to attend) we'll be running a tournament on September 12th in Regents Park.
The location will also be the same, Ready Money Drinking Fountain.
For those of you that had any trouble finding it last time, PM us the day before the event, and we'll provide you wth a mobile numbe so you can call us for directions if necessary.
The tournament style will be block round robin, since this worked well at the last event.

The meeting time will be 12pm, and the tournament should start at 1pm.

The main tournament will be MFB only, but free battles will allow plastic and HMS as usual.

Items we'd recomend for you to bring would include food and drink for yourself, a hooded coat or jacket in case of rain, or suntan lotion if the day seems particularly hot.

We'd also rcomend that if you do intend to take part in the tournament, then bring your own bey.

This may sound like an obvious suggestion, but in the past people have come without, expecting to borrow other peoples.
This would not be a problem, but more than half the blades that have been leant to people have either come back damaged from improper use, or not come back at all.
Obviously this has mde people a lot more reluctant to lend out their own beys.

The entry fee will be the same as usual, free with a blader passport (£6 to buy), or £3 otherwise.

We hope you'll be interested in this tournament, and enjoy it as you have done with previous tournaments.

yes but the only reason I couldn't go on the 22nd was i'm going on holiday for 6 or 7 days and i'm hoping it will be after then cause after that i'm not doing much.
Aaahhhhh come on people whats going on, try and sort this out, how many people do we actually have still going? and if it is posponed till when as im ment to be going on holiday on da 24th lol but i will cancel it for beyblade but i would rather not =S

ive counted six that are actually still coming so all we need is two frends, relitives or other bladers to say yes
I'd rather have more than 8 people coming.

Yeah obviously it would be good and we had alot of luck with the last two so even if this is just a small meet up it would still be nice, won't be so much going on so we can have a chat, practice and have a relaxing day
yeah last time it was great cause there were loads of people there to talk and battle and if there's only 7 other people there then that won't as good as last time.
I see, in this case things are ok on my end now and it seems I might not be able to do what I wanted so I might well be able to come, whenever it will be now anyway. Smile
if ur willing to hold it off to about 0ctober - november i can come xD for the reason i gotta get train fare from poole in dorset to london, gotta get a job and buy mfbs etc x_x but i would love to come
Right we up to seven then come on peeps i really want this to go down =D
^ It depends when flight announces the new date then people might pull out - dont get your hopes up too soon.

At this rate, there isn't anywhere near enough people for a tournament, and for 5 people, this doesn't really seem like a worthwhile event to hold...
I'm sorry to say it, but it might be worth postponing this to a later date.

this is quite depressing. how much promotion was there?

basically, this is the situation in my eyes:
beyblade is dead to the world, particularly england, so we need to draw in new players.
there needs to be demo's going on, the chance for newbies to come empty handed and be alble to play, getting them hooked and wanted to buy their own. basically only untill we actually get more bladers in england than you can count with your fingers is it actually worth setting up a tournement.

uhh we've had loads of successful tournaments in the UK, this just did not have enough time
by next month i should have another blade so if anyone knows anyone that wants to come but dosent have a blade i might be able to supply one Stupid

You quite obviously don't know what the carp you're talking about.
SummerSmash did really well, as did the Spinoff tournament before it.
More than anything, this has been delayed due to time constraints, we have more than enough bladers to hold a 20+ attending event, we just need to find a time when the optimum number of members can attend.
I can come Grinbut next day i ll fly to turkey
The tournament has been postponed. It will no longer be on the 22nd.
So when will it be then Ellz.

obviously if there was a new date decided it would be posted
yeah it would be nice to know cus there are 3 days in november i cant goCrying, i have an exam for eton college
It's more than likely that it'll be on a Saturday in September.
Last time I checked people still had the weekends to do things, it doesn't have to be in a holiday.
i am only available for one day. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE TOURNAMENT ON THAT DAY GO TO HELL
Glad someone said it, since that does seems to be pretty much every UK bladers attitude.
Please refrain from using caps locks. Thank you.

It's a shame this tournament has been postponed but at least it isn't cancelled. I hope it goes ahead and I wish the people organising it luck when finding another date; hopefully most people will be able to make whatever you decide.

I apologise. It's a shame you posted in such a manner though. I'm disappointed in you.

From what you have said, it seems you intend to attend the event on this particular day you refer to. Is it really of such significance as to warrant such a proclaimation?

Theflightyellz, what do you mean by "every UK Blader's attitude?" Is everyone making excuses or backing out when they said they would go?
