Quote:Even though Ray and CS are outclassed in Attack and Defense by Vulcan and RS respectively, this Bey is still a great purchase.
Mold Differences Wrote:There are numerous different molds of CS, which can act very differently. The differences are due to the length of the rubber coat, resulting in differing contact with the stadium surface. If the rubber is large enough to make contact with the surface, it will result in aggressive movement, suitable for attack customs. If the plastic sharp tip is in contact, the tip will be largely stationary, serving better use in defensive customs.
It is best to be aware of this before purchasing to make sure you choose one appropriate for the intended use. A rundown is as follows:
BB-71 Takara Tomy/SonoKong Ray Unicorno Starter: Generally Aggressive. It is possible to receive a calm one. Due to these factors, the starter set is best avoided for either use.
BB-93 Takara Tomy Ray Unicorno Booster: Defensive/Calm. It is possible to receive a mildy aggressive CS, but this is a very rare occurrence, and these can generally be controlled by taking extra care when launching. This is an excellent choice for defence (though the beyblades from BB-107 that have CS can usually be found slightly cheaper).
Ray Unicorno Aurora Version: Defensive/Calm. Good for stamina/defense, though presumably, like all releases, it would be possible to receive a somewhat aggressive one.
BB-107 Random Booster Volume 6 Galaxy Sagittario 145CS and Flame Gemios 105CS): Calm/Defensive. Basically identical to BB-93, but can usually be found slightly cheaper.
Hasbro Ray Striker: Very Aggressive, however this wears quickly, and from then on it tends to switch between aggressive and calm quite often. Fresh out of the box it is excellent for use in attack combos, the rubber providing extremely fast movement, while the sharp tip gives it some extra stamina.
Hasbro Lightning Sword Showdown Ray Striker D125CS (Tentative): Apparently very calm, though testing is needed on its viability in defence customs.
Please note this is just a general pattern and there will be variance, so it is possible to receive a calm CS from BB-71, or an aggressive CS from BB-93, for example.

Anyway, figured I should post this. It's not as good as I'd like and the format of the information will need to be decided upon, but this contains all of the relevant information, so I'll leave it for you to decide. Yeah, given the time I've had it should be better, I've been busy and stuff, and I suck at deadlines.

If it hasn't been tested enough, we shouldn't include it. I'm also a bit hesitant about including the comment on the Aurora Version because besides Deikailo, who else has tested it?
And just to be certain, the comments in this section are strictly speaking about the performance of a brand new CS, correct? I only ask because my RBV6 CS's have become somewhat aggressive sometimes now that they have seen extensive usage.

Guys who have the LL2 SONOKONG release, are the track and cs translucent black/grey or solid grey? I guess I need to find those release numbers. Apologies for not being aware of that release.
