Well, I didn't mean it wouldn't ever end because I know for well that it will sooner or later and we really don't know when but the world ending just because some people says so is a bit extreme. I am well aware of what earthquakes are cable of since what happened to Japan and the other countries around the area. I will admit I didn't think of one in an extreme case but I also don't remember saying that it couldn't, just I couldn't see it. I more believe that it could be because of the sun (Though they can last a very long time) or by our own hands. I don't throw away the thought that the Earth itself could end things either. Regardless, I'm just the kind of guy that will take things as they come, if the world is going to end then it's going to end and don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we shouldn't try to stop it from ending either.

Er, I simply love CocaCola, haha!
Aaaand, that picture won't change my liking for it.
My school's finally reopening tomorrow, and throughout my school life, I have NEVER longed for my school to reopen as I did this year...
Seriously, I have NEVER had such a busy Summer Vacation, and I have also never answered examinations during any of my previous vacations...
This one was truly different, and I am happy that its over now...
I have also had SO many assignments to complete this vacation, but I did manage to complete almost 85% of those. Given my habit to procrastinate, this is quite a feat for me, haha!
Sooo, tomorrow is when the submission of all the assignments starts, and also when I'll have to complete the remaining 15% of assignments, haha!
Continuing the ongoing "End of the World" topic-
It actually is weird as to how we actually believe all these theories related to the Mayan calendar SO easily... :\
Someone says it, and the WHOLE world believes it without even thinking, haha!
What Hazel mentioned is one of the more believable theories, though.
But well, even if it comes any time soon, I am not disappointed at all!
Instead, I am much more disappointed to have missed the once-in-a-lifetime sighting of the Transit of Venus...
I missed it even when it occurred in 2004(not sure about the year)....
And I call myself a person who loves Space...
Aaaaand the most ironic thing about it :
Most people around the world : Ask's everybody to save the Earth to stop global warming etc. Goes back home and finds out that the temperature's a bit high, proceeds to on the air-conditioner.

True, that! LOL!
There's a cartoonist by the name Chris Madden. I simply love his artwork, and his ideas! He probably has made cartoons on similar ironical situations related to Global Warming!
Sooo, yeah!

As someone who lives in a state that frequently reaches 105 Farenheit and higher during the summer, the planet can eat me, I'm running my AC like it's a triathlon fueled by angry tigers.
The hole in the ozone layer stopped growing noticably quite a long time ago, so anything that happens further... is not really easily influenced beyond the point of just making our own lives insufferable for a cause we cannot measure. Emission standards for vehicles, AC units, etc. were all brought into a much, much more friendly area back in the 90's, and have been pretty well regulated since. The things that will be most likely to destroy the planet are all things that would've happened with or without us even being here, and were set in motion outside of our influence.
Pffft, I can't wait to get a new AC/get mine fixed.
When I have my face right beside a vent I can feel a breeze that I don't think could KO a B.
And yet somehow my house usually manages to stay bearable... How I'll never know.

That is something I can agree with you on. We can keep guessing but in the long run it might be better for us to just keep going about our normal lives so there isn't mass panic and fear. Besides, this isn't really a nice topic for a Forum with kids on it.

Yes,the main factor being the sun. In(I think) 1.5 billion years or so,the sun will expand so much that essentially life on earth will simply not exist. Then after 4.5 Billion years the sun will die.I will not go on to explain the death process of a star thoughrouly but essentially all the hydrogen atoms(fuel) will run out and the sun will stop doing fusion. Without that hydrogen to burn, the sun will simply be crushed by the force of gravity. It is really interesting, the life of a star. I reccomend watching documentaries on them.
Well we might be able to survive if in the next billion years we are able to adapt to such high temperatures
Humanity will be either lucky or living somewhere else to still exist in one thousand years, let alone one billion.
The numerous factors to which I refer are timebombs with very short expected fuses. Gravitational polarity collapse/imbalance, massive earthquakes, supervolcanic eruptions, etc.
It's all pretty neat, imo.

So, Ray Bradbury died yesterday. I found this kind of saddedning, because we read a couple of his short stories (The Pedestrian, There Will Come Soft Rains, etc.) in Language Arts this past year. He was a good author IMO, and his stories were some of the best I've read in ths cience fiction genre.
Yesterday,I saw this guy driving down my street in a lawn tractor,drinking a glass bottle of what I think is beer..? Pretty weird,he was driving on of these!;

What? Do you think more sugar makes people not drink Coka Cola. Knowing this will make me want to drink Coka Cola even more ....

Pity you. If I found out that something I drank frequently had that much sugar, I'd back away and never want to see it again!!! Have fun getting diabetes!
If everybody that drinks Coca Cola will get diabetes, probably 3/4 of the world will have diabetes by now.

That's a really broad generalization. Even if you drank one eight-ounce glass of cola a day, if you eat well and exercise regularly, you'll most likely maintain a healthy body weight, average cholesterol, and average blood sugar. That is, unless you smoke excessively, drink excessively, or have a predisposition to one of the above effects. Not everyone who drinks Coke will get diabetes, and not everyone who doesn't, won't.
Some vegetarian I worked with, who was, let's say she was less than friendly to most people, on scanning my snack through the checkout, which consisted of a mocha and a mars bar, said "you know you'll get diabetes". I quickly pointed out that by the same logic she was doomed to suffer anaemia or somesuch. She didn't talk to me again. I feel this was a good outcome for all involved.
And seeing as I've now constructed a worthwhile post, I'll throw this in now, because I've been dying to since the start of the conversation: DIABEETUS

Oh, I forgot to say that this is a lame joke with no logic.

Here we have an example of the exact demographic those images are intended to scare: ignorant people.
Seriously. If everything with sugar in it was a diabetes sentence, the world would be in quite a lot of trouble. Even America, which is undeniably the fattest, most sugar-laden wonderland in the universe(for which I am thankful, personally), is not a land of nothing but diabetics.
Drink a coke, and don't be dumb. You'll survive.
I tend to refrain from adding "hah" to the end of my posts mainly because I feel that its kind of a "Kai-V trademark".
