Eh, blame the Mayans I guess.

Holy carp the Chemistry SAT 2 was mad hard. I never expected it to be so hard. There was so much that we didn't cover in class, and the time constraint was crazy. The practice SATs weren't nearly as hard. Math 1 and Math 2 were pretty easy, but Chemistry I expected to be easiest. I was shocked tbh, I think I got like a 700 or lower on that. XD

I have ulcers. Ouch.

W-W-W-Wait, I have 3 ulcers. Double ouch.

Blame it all on 3 cans of potato crisps + an all-nighter + Diablo III with my cousins.

Got nominated for NATIONAL YOUNG LEADERS STATE CONFERENCE! Actually, my teacher asked if I wanted to, and I said yes! Yahoo! I hope I get in, because it sounds pretty fun!

So in my tennis class, I am apparently the only one who has somewhat of a clue of what they're doing.

I can rally about 30 hits with the coach, everyone else can't even get it over the net! Wow...

And what makes it feel unusual is this...
-I am the youngest in the class (14).
-I am the 3rd tallest boy (5' 9''. The taller 2 are 6' 2'' and 5' 11'').
-I wasn't even seeded in my last tennis season...
-I am constantly straining my left wrist (since I'm left-handed...), and still performing better than all of the students...
-I am the only one who has had NO connection with the coach conversingly, and I am his favorite student.
-AND, I am the only one making the first attempt to pass the class (all others failed at least once).

So many outlying factors making me feel uncomfortable. Anyway, matches start Thursday, and I bet I can go 11-0 if they all continue playing like they are now...

Doomsday theories not revolving around actual geological events are garbage, much like the rotted minds of those who believe them.

well shopping for fabric was a bummer since I forgot about patterns >< AUGH well Hopefully next time also the kaiju costumes gonna wait a wee bit more....augh on the plus side me and my mom had a good time!

I don't like hanging out with people that are jealous of my best friend, Marissa. This happens a lot, especially when Marissa isn't around to defend me. I'm useless... Just a punching bag for all the haters out there... Sometimes I feel just like Benkei...

Felt like that before that was until my dear old dad taught me the lesson of "Not taking carp" and it works just when I'm not TOO mad...But i see what you mean, ugh later i gotta skim the pool but i'm gonna do it a unique way I'm gonna do it from the inside and get those leaves out

I come into the thread, read the rules and then come to the last page to see the rules have been broken with the first post at the top with the very example used in one of the rules. Uncertain I see nothing has changed at all.

The world isn't going to end, if that was the case then the world should have ended more than ten times already. The last one was something about earthquakes which I really couldn't see the end of world from something like that.

The world will eventually end, actually, and earthquakes are one of the most likely things to do it. There are numerous ticking time bombs of geologically factual things currently working toward the destruction of this planet - and some of them have a reasonable chance of happening within the next three hundred years. None of this is based around the Mayans and their calendar, any prophets, or any other such idiocy, either.

It's really easy for an uneducated person to go "oh, well earthquakes are nothing to worry about". When you learn what an earthquake actually is, you tend to stop saying such stupid things. A fairly reasonable earthquake - certainly nothing super abnormal like the quakes described in the end of the world theories which are most definitely plausible themselves - cased a massive portion of Japan to end up underwater not long ago, with no warning. Earthquakes can set off volcanoes, supervolcanoes, tsunamis, mega tsunamis, and so forth, with relative ease.
