I started college yesterday. Seeing as the time I joined WBO was just before starting high school, this would be a good excuse to check in. Wow, things have really changed since I was interested in the hobby. When I first joined the site, it had about 40 people online at a time, and at one point upwards of 100, but it seems everything has reverted back to the way it was before Metal Fight Beyblade came to America. It's kind of sad in a way, but if Beyblade comes back again in a few years I'm positive this place will be booming again. At the very least, you guys have your own litle niche culture
So what's new in my life since the last time I've been here? Ah, it's been a while. I stopped coming here a few years back, but I have checked in a handful of times since then. I started college yesterday, so that was kind of neat. I originally planned to go into computer science or gaming, but I ended up changing my mind over summer; I'm majoring in photography. I don't really plan to get a job in photography though, I'm actually planning to teach English in Japan after I get my Bachelors degree. Of course, that's just a dream for now, we'll see how it all plays out.
Looking at the list of online users, I don't even recognize anybody except for Kai-V. This place really has changed! XD I still kind of like Beyblade though. I probably won't go out and buy any and contribute to testing, but I think I might stick around and help out a bit. This was always a neat hobby, and it's one of those products that I want to see become an evergreen brand. I am thinking about buying myself some
beyshoko Bei-goma though, however you spell it (Traditional Japanese tops.)
If the staff would like my assistance with anything, feel free to PM me; I'll be around. As for the rest of you, I guess I better try my best and get to know all of you.
