Lol. Sounds like me during marching band season. I love marching band to death, but sometimes I want a life outside of school and marching band. XD

My sincerest apologies to anyone who I may have offended with my comment. Hazel, you are neither antsy nor are you little. You are a fellow though. I hope we can all move on from this.

My apologies once again.

I am actually fairly small...

I wasn't aware "antsy" was an insult, though. The truth of the matter is that each Committee Member has their buttons - we're not a hivemind, and we actively consult eachother on a lot of things. Any serious warning(ie: anything above "SPAM" or "hostility" and so forth) is usually discussed between at least two of us.
ROFL Dude, did you take that apology seriously? Even the part where I said I hurt your very soul? I know it takes more to get to you than calling you an antsy little fellow.

Yes, you are little, you're 5'2. That's cool.

Antsy isn't an insult, it was more affectionate than anything. Hence the fellow. If I'm gonna insult someone I'm not gonna call them an antsy little fellow!

Anyway, I just shaved my head and feel pretty cool. Now I bear no resemblance to Kumar... unless Kumar becomes a skinhead too.
No, I was mostly addressing the rest of the prior discussion with the latter half of my post. Wink

I do not think I could ever shave my head completely. Every few years I chop off 26-30 inches of hair and donate it to Locks of Love, which usually leaves me about an inch to an inch and a half or so. Right now my hair is about 18", so it'll be a while(I donated back in October of 2010).
Phwoar, that got heavy for a little there. Somewhat glad I was asleep :\

I would shave my head but a) I would look like an alien, and b) it would be like giving in to everyone that ever drove past at 60km/h and yelled "RANGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" out the window. Same with dying it.

I might dye it bright red at some point, but apparently it fades to a really nasty colour.
I actually really really want to shave my head, but my parents really really don't want me to, haha. However, every time I get it cut it goes shorter and shorter, hahaha.

I wonder what another version of the meteor king alien would be like, one without a box on his head.

Say she posts 50 posts per day, that'll take her 40 days to get the 2000 more, which is 5/6 weeks, which is obviously 5/6 articles. The past 5/6 articles took about 2/3 months, so it's an improvement, plus 10/12 articles in a month and a bit is far too much to get done properly, let alone give time to sleep. I couldn't think of anything else actually, haha.

Kai-V here's how it's related: you do lots and lots of work for the community, so we put in extra work for the community! Yeah it's the best I could think of, haha.

Does anyone else write a post as a response or whatever, and at the end just say fudge it and don't post it? It's been happening to me so much in the past week, even several times in the past 15 minutes. I swear I almost even did the same thing with this post.

You don't visit plastics land often enough. Some drafts are just writing an AR section. I've written 10-12 articles in 2-3 weeks, and I'm told they're not too shabby.

Seriously, it's like, we don't want to get the plastics side of the wiki together or something? I mean, it's pretty discouraging to editors if there's no feedback at all after a few weeks, and all they can do is sit there and watch their drafts sink into the backlogs. Jus' saying, and this isn't just from me, there are a number of people who have vented about the same. :\

Argh, I should go get some sleep, I'm in a bad mood as it is.

Tbh I feel exactly the same. Especially with the plastics side where every year we lose more and more who know a lot about plastics(MC Frown for example), the plastics are where should be focusing on more to get the info down while we have people who have enough knowledge to write articles on them(and tbh there really aren't many; It basically amount to me, you and Poseidon).
I used to be a ginger, actually. I was born with extremely bright red hair. Had a bit of an identity crisis in my early teens and dyed it jet black... when the dye wore out, my hair was brown with blonde in it. It changed colors a few times after that, but it's dark brown, now - and I've not dyed it in ten years.

My beard is red, my mustache is brown, and my sideburns are black.

Genetics: hella rad

My thoughts exactly. We have Dan too now, he's a very fast learner, but the past drifts further away, every single day. It's why I'm trying to write as many articles as I can right now, it's just discouraging that nothing happens when I do. I mean, look at the master driger draft: is there anything more that could possibly be said about it? It is literally a useless, breakage prone AR with a generic base, SG, and WD. :\
EDIT: WHEEEEE HAZEL IS ON IT

Hazel: WOAH YOU HAVE A BEARD? Gasp
@Shaba: Ahahahaha, you might see when I'm older, maybe. Depends how this band thing goes and if I decide to do a Peter Garret impression.
I occasionally have a thin beard, yes. I usually shave before it gets too scraggly, though. It doesn't grow into like a mountain dwarf kind of thing, but it's still thick enough to be clearly visible, haha. The only facial hair I really keep is a mustache and a thin goatee, but I really should shave a lot more often than I do.
I've just recently started shaving. I have a mustache, and some hair around my chin. I shave maybe once every 2 weeks or so. Which reminds me, I need to go shave...

A "while back" I dyed my hair a very deep blue. Ever since I started watching anime I had wanted blue hair - thought it was the coolest thing ever.

Turns out it wasn't quite as cool as I thought it was going to be. LOL It would have been cooler if other people were doing it too I think. ;p

I demand pictures of Blue Arupaeo. Serious
I have also dyed my hair blue, but with temporary wash-out stuff. There really isn't a way to get it to look particularly great... artificial and pre-colored weave-in strands always look better and can be removed, preventing you from losing employability...

Re: Plastics Articles

shut up now okay gosh
@ th!nk: LOL I don't know that they exist. Back in the days of daguerreotype you know...

When your dream jobs all involve music or music stores, wild hair is practically a prerequisite.

Re: Plastics Articles: I'm actually beaming right now, thankyoooouuuuu :3 As a reward for your hard work, I am currently going through and formatting all of my drafts that you haven't yet done, so in future you can just paste them right in! EXCITING!~ :3

Arupaeo: LIESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

I miss the days where I used to shave once every 2 weeks... now if I don't shave every 2 days I get bollocked at by my manager. Although I think I look more handsome with a bit of stubble...

When colours fade out after being dyed, NOTHING looks worse than a fading blue. Unhappy
Hah, I'm still deciding on whether or not if I want to keep on doing it.. It's really a lose-lose situation.
Shave, and it comes back more often.
Don't, and like most people, it'll look bad.
why is the human race cursed
The idea that hair comes back more often once shaved is just unfounded... it's anecdotal. Hair grows from the follicle, not the tip. The only argument to be made is stimulation of the follicles, but even that has been mostly debunked, scientifically.

My facial hair grows extremely slowly - usually only have to shave it every month or so. I've been shaving for seven years.
I prefer no shaving lol. My girlfriend likes the scruff and the hair... But I usually shave my upper lip hair... I'm thinking about letting it grow out and have like a goatee. haha

EDIT: I always heard that too and thought it was a load of carp. My facial hair usually grows pretty fast though.
Well, technically, after the first time it looks thicker is because the base is now at the top. Or something like that, it's supposed to be where the myth comes from.

I'm also a monthly shaver, and even then I can get lazy, because ginger facial hair is not particularly visible.
Hair gets marginally thicker as you go down the strand to the root, yes, so when you shave and it grows back out, it will look a bit thicker.

Speed is the same, though. Any changes in regrowth speed are all your body maturing and so forth.
Hmm.. I guess that makes sense...

I have to shave like every 2 days or it gets out of hand. lol

Same here, haha.
When I don't shave for a while, I get compliments from people. Along the lines of "nice beard, grow it out more."
However, not sure if trolling or...

Welp, my right butt cheek is killing me. I've been playing a lot of hacky sack the past few days, and I'm trying to get good at it. After around 10 minutes of playing, I'm panting like I just ran a mile.
It's a good workout, really. And it's fun, hah. I've been practicing my left leg, and trying to stall. I need a new hacky sack, one that's sand, and not the cheap little plastic pellet ones.
