Apparently from somewhere I read there are regulations on how often those win and the PSI setting for the claw strength is like randomly changed every now and then.

I don't know, as much as I like those things, I've wated a lot of money. I've literally seen the claw go down and not grip at all so I'm positive they're in fact rigged.

Odd how the ones at the Dave and Busters I went to weren't rigged. Basically as long as the claw had something to hold on it was okay.

Me and my bf had a contest on how many we could get. He got 3 XD People walked by as I played saying "omg you're so good." I was all like 0_0" okay. Those ones with jewelry are horrible though. And the ones with the boxes are horribly hard. Plush ones are the easiest.

The worst thing is when the prize goes to the drop off box but gets stuck. Like once, a bear landed face down and the legs and head got stuck, so we had to get one of the staff to open it up and get it out. Another time, the jewelry one had a bracelet and because the claw was swinging, it flew right between a small space between the glass cover of the machine and the metal within.

Speaking of which, I'll be having mine in a little over a year.

I still wouldn't end up keeping it, because of me being diabetic. But I'm sure there are many things that can keep my blood sugar level in the range, without me eating bread.

I don't know how many of you will be aware of the significance of this, but this is some pretty exciting news - the fabled Atari 2600 ET cartridge landfill has been located.

ET for the Atari 2600 is the game that came to symbolise a series of events/set of trends that almost destroyed video games (it's share of the blame is perhaps unwarranted - I've not played it myself but I've watched others slog through it and while it's pretty awful there's plenty worse licensed games out there from that era) - unsold copies of it were long rumoured to have been disposed of in a landfill out that way, so it became kind of a lost treasure for retro gaming buffs or just those heavy on nostalgia for an era of their childhood or adolescence (or people who just know plenty of people in those categories and thus became interested in the tale themselves like little old me).

Was kind of hoping that once it was unearthed someone would go and silently dump the lot on a company like EA's doorstep for laughs but you know, still pretty cool.

So today I just got in the Octogon Battle Set from the BeyWarriors line...

It's just NOT good. The stadium is pretty cool, but I couldn't hate the BeyWarriors more. They spin horribly, and the battles are like to people spinning around while slapping each other with fish. It just doesn't feel as exciting, and has a WAY less powerful feel that regular Beys.
