Purchase Consultation (MFB + Burst)

(May. 06, 2020  1:34 PM)MagicMiki Wrote: Hi guys, I am new here.
I am an old fan that rediscovered beys after a long time (metal fusion when I was 14).

I was wandering if someon could give me some advices and helping me with the meta and stuff... it is not easy to find stuff about competitive beyblade game.

For instance, I was wandering where is the best place or website to buy Burst Beys .... I saw lots of them on Aliexpress and they are at an incredibly good price, is it good? or is there a better site to buy them?

Thanks for the help.

First, let me say “Welcome back to beyblade!”

I would be very weary of Ali Express. Most of the beys on there are cheap because they are fakes. Keep in mind anything not Hasbro or Takara Tomy is not allowed in competitive tournaments. Plus the quality of most fakes is very poor.

Hasbro beys can be found anywhere: Walmart, Target, Amazon etc.

For Takara Tomy you can use Ever-Wish.com, eBay, Amazon, Amazon Japan.

There is a purchase consultation thread on here that you may want to read.

If you’re interested in learning about what’s in the current meta, take a minute and read the “winning combinations” thread. You’ll see the different parts/beys used to win tournaments. That’s always a good place to start.

I recommend buying both since when you combine the Dead armor with the Revive core then you get Perfect Phoenix, which is a really heavy layer and good for defense.

Even Perfect Phoenix is a bit outclassed in today's meta, since Lord spriggan and judgement came out.

well since he asked for Phoenix I told him the best option was buying both
Being newer myself, I have been having the most luck lately with Amazon and Ebay. Hasbro is a lot easier to find of course, but Walmart (in my area) is quicking changing over to the Rise series. Amazon has been OK for TT and Ebay seems to have a lot of choices, but gotta be careful of those "no brand" small print ones :p

I am finding TT stadiums pretty hard to acquire, Ebay has been the best for those so far.
Probally amazon considering it having tt beys.
I would buy andy mfb and burst beys on wish
my mom works in target so whenever i ask for hasbro beys she buys me it in a discount so i would assume targets pretty good in my decision, but the best store i would go online is eBay,it has cheap bey almost every bey you can think of so that's good, and second, it has good tt beys cause most of it is made in china
Hello everyone. Im about to place my first decent order with ever wish and kinda wanted to make sure im getting a decent starter package. Playing with a couple hundred bucks and I wanted not just a few good beys but also surplus parts for testing.

Does this sound like a solid list to take advantage of the big shipping cost. A few units are currently unavailable so I have what seems like most important.

Spriggan requiem (because well its spriggan and the lord triple pack nor available)
Master diabolos ( seems to be a solid layer to build with)
2x union Achilles ( mostly for 2 xtend+ and hes not to expensive)
Archer Hercules( just a solid cheap Bey to practice with)
2x cho z triple pack( so I can get double atomic, bearings etc)

I took the Phoenix combo off the list since it seemed like it didn't have as much success as some gt combos. Should I prioritize anything else like maybe a chip to put in master layer or any weights other than the retsus I'll be getting with Achilles?

Also is the imperial dragon a priority purchase right now? For chip or layer.

Both the lord spriggan triple pack and the packs that give paradox are unavailable.

Thank you very much.
Um I am selling a beyblade lot for 100 dollars that has 16 beys two stadiums and 10 launchers, but Im wondering if the price is to high or too low, and if I should put it on eBay?
The condition is brand new for about 60% of them and the others are lightly used so some guidance would be greatly appreciated.

So far my purchases went very well. They respond quickly and very kindly.
Moving this into Purchase Consultation thread.
Hey just got back into beyblade, loved it as a kid. Can anyone tell what a good beyblade is for a beginner. Burst seemed pretty fun. I would like something that's very aggresive(if there is something like that), so you can actually battle it out with great power(sorry if things go to anime here). Also what is the best launcher, rip cord or string.
I already bought this a month ago and it has finally gotten its way into the US not too long ago, so it's more or less just criticism that I want for what I got in this lot. I got this from Japan on Yahoo JP auctions through Buyee's service
I won the lot for about $50, then paid $70ish for shipping, expensive for sure but, it weighed about 3.9k grams, I made a pretty extensive list on the items I can see in it (the combinations are most likely not stock from the pics, but I just put the stock combo names down if I saw the layer). As you can see a mix between the earlier series up to Cho-Z and GT. Hopefully no fakes? I assume probably no hasbros either at least only because it was based in JP and all the other stuff looks to be TT (and the boxed items of course).

Thanks for any help

Ok, thanks!
Hello all, my son just got into beyblades which in turn got me involved. We already have quite a few, both hasbro and TT, but I was wondering what are some the must have beyblades for our collection?!? He’s fairly competitive and I can see him wanting to have some of the best of the best.

Thanks in advance

I'm not sure about Hasbros, but for TT, I think most people would recommend the latest stuff such as Brave Valkyrie, Super Hyperion?, etc, also some previous releases like Imperial Dragon, Legend Spriggan, Judgement Joker, Zwei Longinus. A new longinus is releasing soon with Destroy' which is a very good driver and to my knowledge the only way to get it is from a few other things mainly random boosters or exclusives. I ended up getting it from RBV12 Shelter Regulus.

Cho Z Valkyrie, Cho Z Spriggan, I'm just getting back into beyblades myself so I have the same questions you do. However those seem to pop up most frequently. Not sure what you have right now but hopefully there's suggestions that work for you.

The Lord Spriggan Triple Pack is the best to get. It comes with gen on Dread Bahamut, the best weight for burst resistance, Lord Spriggan is the best gt bey undebatably. The layer has metal, rubber, is dual-spin, and has burst stoppers. Blitz is one of the heaviest discs in the game and Dimension' is a highly versatile driver. Slash Dragon comes with Octa, a really heavy and rare stamina driver.

Still getting used to the forum.
Thanks for the responses. The suggestions are pretty close to what I have gathered from reading through posts.

Hasbro we have basically anything we can get our hands on in store:
Air knight K4
Turbo Spryzen S4
Turbo Achilles A4
Xcalius x4
Galaxy Zeutron z4
Gold-x Betromoth b4
Lava-x Anubion a4
Spiral Treptune t4

Venom Devolos d5
2x Ace dragon d5
Bushin Ashindra a5
Morrigna m5

TT we have:
Emperor Forneus b-111 04
Black brutal Longinus b-128 02
Winning Valkyrie b-111 02
Hazard Kerbeus b-146 06
Driger Slash b-95 08
Vise leopard b-140 08
Archer Hercules b-125 03
Maximum Garuda b-125 04
Yeah, I'm going off what most say as for example I don't have brave yet, waiting on a lot from Japan that has Cho z valk, Cho z Spriggan, etc.

But yeah I assume most will tell you to get a later one like Cho-Z, GT, SuperKing. Not that all of them are great and must haves so they'll give you examples. As said before Legend Spriggan triple booster is a good move, but I don't have that set myself so I can't vouch from my experience
