lol. i don't mean to be rude but considering that akirasdaddy can read Katakana and Hiragana and very fluent in the language, wouldn't it make sense that he would know the facts about the blade since he could read every single character on the box? but yeah, it is a bit weird. well, now we know it has a PC frame.... i guess they called it PC to make it sound cool.. or something... LOL! otherwise it would be called "Personal Computer" Frame (HORRRIBLE PUN!!!)

Because it is completely impossible to imagine that someone could also not know any better and call something what it is not. I had not looked at the box, I did not know that it was clearly written "PC フレーム".

Also, uhh, PC means PolyCarbonate, the material plastic parts of MFB are made from...

I thought that Beyblade plastic parts are made of usual plastics?
If they're really made in PC, It will be dissolved when touching those markers.
(correct me if I'm wrong.)

All plastic parts in Metal Fight Beyblade are made of polycarbonate. Plastic used in launchers and stadiums is different.

What?

Dude, google it, half the objects in your house are made of it. I highly doubt they would sell anything that is dissolved by a marker as a food container. Heck, the barrels of those markers are probably made from polycarbonate.

The original beyblades were made of ABS, fwiw.

Bought one today.

There was a notice that came with D:D that suggest that D:D should be removed to change modes. The image shows someone sticking in a thin pen-shaped item into the side that the face screws into to change modes... How would this fall under the WBO Tournament rules?

Just a thought, but I'm guessing they suggest changing modes that way so that the mechanism doesn't wear out and the tips aren't subjected to plastic fatigue; yanking on them repeatedly might cause the tips to snap off?

Maybe. But it's almost impossible to get a grip on the F and S tips, so I think this was thought out.

What is that ... ? Are you incapable of switching the tips when it is attached to a Wheel and a Face ? The mechanism is too big when it rotates ?

That would be very disappointing.

I would agree with this. Pushing from the other side would do a lot more for the preservation of the plastic mechanism and the tips themselves.

I would assume that by not including a device to change modes means that Takara Tomy don't particularly care how you do it as such, just that this method is encouraged.

Ahh, it is because the other tips can't turn well when the Face is screwed in... it might end up damaging the tips apparently.

It doesn't seem like a nuisance to switch tips when the Face is screwed in, but I'm worried that the tips might get ruined.

Do you not have to pull the current tip (and all the others at the same time) when you want to rotate to another tip anyway ? Does even that not cause the tips to scrape on the Face ?

Disregard that last statement... It seems that the resistance from turning the tips is just built into the D:D mechanism itself, not necessarily from the Face.

So I suppose Spinster is correct.

Still, would removing D:D to use the suggested method of switching tips be allowed in tournaments (not that it would really affect me, ahah)?

Well, I do appreciate TT's notice about this matter. It just might be because the mechanism might become extremely loose after a lot of usage.... So, yeah!

I would think this would be intended use. Though it's obviously a committee decision. I'd think not, right now, until/unless they add a clause to allow it, as it's specifically noted as "illegal".
