Because the BeyTerminal gives a random Bey to a random character? There has been Valt with Kerbeus, Daina with Evileye, etc. It's just how the game works.
My computer is dud today but I've photoshopped the silhouettes of each layer to simulate the function of the spring. If you rotate the free layer by the angle allowed by the spring, you'll see the whole bey assumes a much more defensive shape. I assume then that the spring is not a shock-absorber but rather a standard mode-change gimmick, changing from defence to attack as the spin slows down. The spring itself is not compressed by hits but by the basic rotational force of the bey at top speed.
Can somebody else photoshop this while my pc is down?

Well, we do not know whether the spring is fully contracted in the pictures we saw, or if it will relax while spinning...? Anyway, I tried to reproduce what you were describing, but with two possible positions:
(I moved the bottom piece instead but basically it comes down to the same results, except that in reality the top part would have stayed in the same position as the bottom piece.)
Bottom one is what I have, thanks. I see your point. Does feel odd that the official pictures might show it fully or half compressed rather than relaxed - as in Variaries.
Edit: also, I suppose I'm not taking height into account, which suggest it actually goes from attack to defense. Gah, unknown.

The layer gimmick is genius. I love it so much. <3
I can't wait unit it comes out
I looked at some other pictures and it looks like the layer could come apart and combine with other layers like in zero-g. what do you think
Maybe... Hey, it's released on March 18th right?
Another picture showing a top view of the 6V Disc and a more side view of the Rb Driver:
From this Twitter user's video.
There is clearly a gear all around Rb and I would be surprised if that is not for a tip/mode change.
By this rate, I think God Valkyrie will have nothing to reveal on its release date, we will know everything about it hah.

Another teaser, not much info, but it looks pretty cool. The disk doesn't look like rubber

Rb looks lower in height than other drivers. Are we finally getting height variations? :,D
For sure it was not rubber, based on the previous pictures. But that teaser seriously does not look intentional at all hahah. What is wrong with everybody leaking everywhere...
i wonder if the driver changes modes with each click lost. would be very cool, and also very fun gimmick to play around with.
What a great way to build the hype for the new Burst gen. Releasing only one single Beyblade on the BeyTerminal, as well as some teasers on magazines and all. That's awesome. xD
I'm honestly really hyped for March 18th releases!

The white tabs on the driver look so much like the ones on F or F, so maybe it'll do something with the system of those.

It kinda reminds me of F : D/F : S.
I just hope this possible mode changing actually work this time.
This will either work well by the time it had to be refined, or it could be even worse due to Burst beys general lower velocity to maintain the centrifugal force needed for these type of gimmicks compared to MFB.
RB really looks like F / F. I hope so much that it has a mode change gimmick. As a big balance type fan myself and F as my favorit tip from MFB I wish it is true.
