So is it Saber Valkyrie or Savior Valkyrie?

No, this is most definitely Saber. The Fate series has a Servant class called Saber and it uses the same セイバー as this Valkyrie.

It also makes more sense because Beyblade Valkyrie has always been depicted as a knight with a sword.

The thing is that the katakana can be translated both ways. It means saviour too. TT has shown this image on the official advertisement. Also saviour makes the most sense mythologically speaking as Valkyrie was a female warrior who helped heroes in Norse mythology

Wait, really?damn, if this is really an official TT poster, then they really went with the wrong choice for translation. Since Valkyries in actual mythology aren't even the "savior" type of gods, they're just envoys that escorted dead heroes to Valhalla.

Saber would have been more simple and fits more with Burst's depiction of a Valkyrie, IMO.

Edit: Adding on this, there's actually a "Saver" class in Fate as well which is localized as Savior because there's no direct translation for it in Japanese, and has completely different characters from Saber.

I wonder if this is just a translation error for Katakana again, since TT had a lot of those in MFB.
Welp, we might as well wait for Ep 14 to confirm its name, but nevertheless, I'm excited for this release.

Well it fits if this valkyrie actually follows the mythology since you know TT define Valkyrie as the god of war instead of a female warrior which is weird.
Am i the only one who thinks Valkyrie are too tall? it battle ragnaruk high mode and Valkyrie on low mode, make it looks like they are at same height. imagine high mode Valkyrie
So excited for this gimmick!

Saber is サーベルin Japanese. This has been confirmed by a Native Japanese Speaker. I'm sorry but The official Name is in fact Savior as confirmed by the Japanese.  I was also skeptical about it at first but the fact is that it is called Savior.

サーベル is Sabre. セイバー is Saber. A show called Kamen Rider Saber uses it, as Saber.

No, Saber is セイバー, and TYPE-MOON has been using it for almost 2 decades now. They literally have a designated Servant class for Heroic Spirits of Salvation which is Saver, and is localized as Savior.

Savior Valkyrie might be the official name, but TT definitely screwed up their translation of words to English. This has been a thing since MFB, so I would not doubt the translation of a franchise with very extensive lore compared to them.

Well i think the confusion is between V and B The japanese pronouce V and B pretty similarly so i can understand where the confusion is from. However, my point still stands too that a Native Japanese Speaker told me that The katakana is perfectly fine. Again it may be due to the similarity between V and B

So basically the same thing as Superking/Sparking and Light speed/high speed?

Regardless though, I have no idea where TT even got Savior from セイバー. The word Savior, at least going from memory, has no direct translation to Japanese. This is the reason why the aforementioned TYPE-MOON decided to use Saver/セイヴァー for their class of saviors and why the English localization was translated as Savior.

I don't think it even has anything to do with the words sounding similar when a Japanese person pronounces it in English either, because Saber would be Seiba and Savior would be somewhere along the lines of Seiviah.

Not a native speaker of Japanese but bandai has translate it into saviour too referring to the saviour gundam.

I cannot understand the negativity behind this release. Gorgeous Beyblade, very creative gimmick that hasn't been done before (I guess Hopper from plastic get is the only thing similar?) and it comes with a launcher + gear.

Will the driver be competitive? Probably not. Will it be a lot of fun? Absolutely, yes!

I do wish all the creative stuff was Phoenix-level of competitive, but it can be challenging to pull off.
Ok so Takara Tomy released a video about Saber Valkryie and they actually said "Savior" but that might just be a mispronunciation but it still all they really talked about is the jumping gimmick

I agree, plus the layer might be comptetive.
God, we're going to have another Bell/Bael situation with Savior/Saber. The official TT advertisement shows Savior, so i'm gonna say Savior. Waking up to see it's Savior was a bit of a twist lol.

Anyways, this bey looks good. Sure I don't think it'll perform well stock, but at least it looks good, fun and unique. Which honestly is all I really wanted. Sure good performance would be a bonus, but oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

My biggest complaint though is Valkyrie with a sharp tip. That is cursed.
Translation for the parts:
Valkyrie: Valkyrie motif, the god of battle. A right-handed DB core that turns the attached blade into a bound attack with a built-in spring.
Savior: An attack-type right-handed blade that uses a large rubber blade that repels the opponent and wears it to create a new attack blade that awakens its super-powerful attack performance.
7: Metal armor parts that fix the layer. It has both attack power due to the eccentric center of gravity and mobility due to aerodynamic performance.
Shot: Only when a strong shot is made, the jump is transformed only once in the latter half of the battle, and it is possible to attack in the vertical direction. An attack-type disc-integrated driver that accelerates and increases attack power after deformation. It can also support the low mode of the DB layer.
V gear: Evolution gear that evolves Belial. It adds weight and mobility to the driver and also increases the hardness of the lock.
Saber? Savior? Shift? Shaft? Shot? You might as well call it Winning Valkyrie 12 Vl.
7 will probably be stable and have a normal center of gravity. Remember the days when number disks were a thing? Well the disk 7 was just like this and had 3 metal bits on one side and 4 on the other, but the weight on each side was equal so it was evenly distributed.
Are Jump Drop and Jump Upper actually moves or advertisement comments

Pretty sure they're just comments
