Not exactly, because Ig alternates between right and left during battle while Hybrid can only go right or left. The L/R Switch on Ig' more than likely changes which way the motor goes first then changes to the opposite direction soon after.
Thanks for the answers JoMario67 & BeyCrafter!

Well yes, but you can get the same results out of them. The Hybrid driver doesn't instantly activate, so if I use a right spin layer but put the driver on left spin, then I should get a similar effect.
Another difference between Hy & Ig’ is prolly gonna be the tip shape & material..
I think Hybrids tip is made out of some POM like material, and it’s not a flat tip, maybe Ig’ will be made out of another material and be a flat...

In that scenario (right spin layer and Hybrid set to left), the combo would go right, and then left as Hybrid activates.
I assume Ignition (if on a right spin bey) would first have the bey go right like normal, and then when it activates it makes the bey change direction to left, and finally going back to right, which can't be done on Hybrid

That's not been revealed yet
Also, gonna quote this here since it is a demonstration of Imperial Dragon and was confused with Regalia Genesis and put in the GT Customize Set thread.

Definitely Genesis bursts all the time from the videos I've seen.

From what it says it sounds like it has Pegasus gimmick with reverse lock.

That's because the text that's at the top of the screen is the Heaven Base's description. Imperial's description would be in the blank text box underneath the picture. Even if it did have that gimmick, that wouldn't require the Base to have a built-in Weight, because it has to have a gimmick that takes up too much space for a normal Base for it to have a built-in Weight.
It’s probably going to be the first bey to spin for 5 minutes
And the second bey to burst lord spriggan
I think it will have a spinning plate like wizard fafner

Wow, Imperial Dragon is enormous. Ace Dragon looked small next to it.
I think Imperial base has Burst stopper because it is thick like Cho-Z Valkyrie
If I'm not mistaken, Drum called the new Dragon Chip "Dragon Type 2" but it'll probably be like the Pegasis and L-Drago Clear Wheels, where you don't need to say the full name unless you really need to distinguish it from the original, like when you're explaining the specific parts a combo has.

so I'd have to say Ace Dragon Type 2 vs Ace Dragon(used the same base for distinction)

Yeah, just like how Big Bang Pegasus III F was mainly referred to as Big Bang Pegasus F, but people typed something like Blitz Pegasis III 90 R2F instead of Blitz Pegasus 90 R2F to differentiate between the two.
Is there going to be a gimmick on the base layer beside the metal
