It may be quite a long time before they even release a regular recolor of such a powerful Layer (since czS doesn't even have a recolor in a random booster/layer collection yet, along with czA and czV)
I can see Spriggan being popular again, but I dont know if its going to be used for attack like JJ, or spin equalization like its predecessor ChoZ Spriggan.
For attacking in right spin, it looks like a Judgment with less oval shape, which means weaker recoil.
For spin equalization, it seems great. Its like Wizard but with way better burst resistance. Although ChoZ Spriggan has burst stoppers, Lord spriggan has rubber (and a semi burst stopper, to be fair)
Or maybe.. it can work as an attacker in left spin? I can't wait to grab it now.

I think the only difference between that and the current release is the details on the gold part (instead of those swirls, it became claws). It would've been amazing since it'd be reminiscent of Requiem's design, but I guess they wanted to veer off from it and took on Chouzetsu Spriggan's straightforward design instead.
It's a question of colours, more than the shape of it. Gold, red and blue would have been phenomenal. Just like an upgrade to Spriggan Requiem with that color scheme, like you said. I think TT missed a chance to pay respect to one of the strongest burst beys ever made. If i have to be honest, Cho-z Spriggan's look sucks. Also, i don't understand what lord spriggan was made for. I mean, yeah so far it's basically undefeatable because it can't burst with dimension dash and i understand that. But, the red rubber parts? I don't know, those have a Judgement base vibes but are not as exposed. This could be a drawback in defense and stamina combos too. Those could easily work against lord spriggan itself, since they offer a point where attack types can hook onto and deal terrible hits. Spin stealing? I don't think so, for the same reasons.

Leo burst has tested it against judgment joker and it one hit bursted it zankye tested it and destabilized everything so I see it as an atomic combo with the benefit of countering defense and attack combos
The combo I'm eager to try out when I get the Triple Booster is Lord Longinus 0 Wall Hold'. It seems like a good replacement for hS.0W.H' because it would spin steal better than hS in Attack Mode.
And, as usual, stock combo vs stock combo doesn't show that much. The potential of Lord Spriggan is promising, i'm curious to see how it does with a disc or disc+frame that could help LS more than Blitz does and a non-dash driver.
Any combos you guys interested in? I'll be getting mine in the next few days.

Legend Spriggan already has a recolor in a random booster release. I think you meant "LS" as abbreviation of Lord Spriggan Layer
Why would I be talking about legend Spriggan here lol? Ofc it's gonna be about lord spriggan
I just got mine seems insane on LS 0W Bearing but has no lad I also used LS 0C XT+ witch has some success in reverse spin even manged to out spin Cho Z Spriggan on the same combo reverse spin here are the results from 10 rounds.
LS 0W Bearing Vs JD Bl Quick' = LS 0W Bearing
LS got 4 burst and 3 outspins and Diablos got three knock outs.
LS 0W Bearing Vs Cho-Z Spriggan 0W Bearing = LS 0W Bearing
LS got 6 out-spins and a knock out when i accidentally tilt launched it for some reason and Cho-Z Spriggan out spun it three times.
LS 0C XT+ VS JD Bl Quick' = LS 0C XT+
I was surprised here it got knocked out only once and then proceeded to out spin 9 times in a row.
LS 0C XT+ Vs Cho-Z Spriggan 0W Bearing = LS 0C XT+
LS got 6 outspins and CZ-S got 4 when in same spin
Note we were alternating launch power and spin direction though all the battles.

np take your time I can wait 2 weeks XD
Can we see CZ-S.00Wall.Bearing vs Lord Spriggan.00Wall.Bearing in opposite spin? So we can see which has better LAD.

Can Lord Spriggan actually replace Cho-Z Spriggan?
Is it an upgrade or rather more a downgrade?
As far as I've seen from Slash Valkyrie VS Cho-Z Valkyrie, it's pretty obvious which is superior.
And I fear that just as them, Cho-Z Spriggan is still gonna take that crown, making Lord Spriggan a rather disappointing "evolution".
I know and understand that the set on its own comes with really neat parts, an extra wall (that I really don't like to use), proof, Octa driver ... but as a guy who has no tournaments or even regular people to battle against, I don't really need good extra parts as long as I have 1-2 good beys to play, just in case (rest is collection).
It also bothers me slightly that for a GT bey, I can't change out the weight in the layer on lS ... making the layer just another layer, really XD
I don't own LS yet, but the rubber on it is going to make it better at Spin-Equalization. If it goes up against a heavier same-spin Bey, a combo with the Lord Base is going to be screwed, but it could succeed against lighter combos. Overall, it has slightly higher risks with a better reward.
Does anyone think that something like lord valkyrie/longinus on bearing will be a problem?

It might have potential to be an alternative to replace ChoZ Spriggan with Bearing. Although its burst stopper is arguably not as safe, the rubber helps spin equalizing better.
However, I have a feeling that the large rubber contact area might actually cost what would be an LAD win into ties, since it may act as a brake when the opponent is almost stopped.
