Tbh, all this contradiction is unnecessary. Using Slash Valkyrie as an example, The Layer Base is called Slash and the Layer Chip is called Valkyrie. The fully assembled layer can't have name change unless you switch around the parts. Following this logic, the three trademarked Dragon Beys are three different customizations, aall accessible with the DX Starter

I think the description for the Sting disk says that there are springs in it.
