The fees are actually sent.
Hello everyone.
After surviving the apocalypse (caused by Lavos haha), all that is left of the world is a destroyed future with little hope for humanity. Warriors roaming the land find themselves drawn into clashes over food, water and any usable resources. Survival of the fittest reigns supreme. However, while those samurais are clashing with swords, NYC bladers will be clashing with with Samurai Changers, Ifraids and Pegasi at Samurai Showdown!
I will be cohosting with Cyber Blader, who is also a well-established member in the NYC Beyblade community and is equally dependable.
Name: Samurai Showdown
Date: December 22nd, 2012
Venue: Hecksher Playground, Central Park, NY, NY
It is assuredly a very safe location to play in, and plus we have safety in numbers after all.
WARNING: There will be cold weather during this time. Temperatures are expected to be in the 40s, so dress warm! There are snack carts nearby, but the prices might be slightly expensive, so it's best to bring food from home.
Format: MFB, then Zero-G
I wish for a HMS or plastic tournament, but I know it's not going to happen and I don't have nearly enough older beys to lend out. This is subject to change however, if other circumstances arise.
Registration/Starting Time: 1 PM, Registration will occur in the half hour or more before that (aka at noon). If neither of the hosts are there immediately, sit tight and we'll definitely get there in time.
On another note, STEALING OF ANY KIND WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. NYC has has a history of stolen parts and even unrelated objects like a 3DS, which is incredibly shameful. You and any family members present are responsible for your belongings due to being in a public place, but if either Cyber Blader or I find any note of stealing and can confirm that it was stolen, there will be consequences for the culprit.
Prize Pool: (1st place = 1st pick, etc.)
Red Galeon + Plastic Right-Spin Launcher
2 Tiger Defenser (green) + Smash Turtle (red)
Thunder Dragon (HMS) Light Blue Hasbro (no spark paper)
The prizes are old generation Beyblades, however they are sadly used. They are still in very manageable condition though, and are fully legal for play. They are also all competitive!
All sellers who have posted in this thread stating their merchandise will be listed under this spoiler.
I think I've covered all the bases here, now we just need you! Don't forget to sign up for this so that we can become an official event! The fees are waived during this week, but you can still purchase a Blader Passport for 10 USD and receive a year-long, unrestricted access to special giveaways and other tournaments hosted by the WBO!
Note: I'll also have a 'Happy Anniversary WBO!' sign so we can take some pictures with it during the tournament.
So let's stop failing, and let's get NYC blading again!

i wanted to go so bad =( it sounds so fun
Does anybody know when the credits/faces will be distributed?
Whenever the new Beypoint system is completed/the queue is freed up.
Obviously there are some issues with New York in the queue, even though this tournament is all ready to go.
