With the release of MHA season 5 approaching soon, I thought a tournament themed after the new season seemed like a great idea. With Froztz hosting a team tournament, I thought it would be great to merge this team event with a theme I came up with, so now froztz and I are hosting this tournament as Co-host.

Team FAQ

How many players can be on a team?
Teams are made up of exactly 3 players.

I don't have a team/haven't joined a team, can I join/what do I do?
If you are not part of a team prior to the tournament you will be assigned to a team prior to tournament start.

How do you play team format?
Basically a team must pick a captain who is responsible for telling the judge prior to match start the order in which the players will play. Each player will play their opponent best of 5. The results of each round are tallied and the team with the most total points wins the match. If there is a tie then the captain must pick a player to represent the team in a tie breaker match.

How does win/lose work in team event?
All rounds results are recorded separately and affect the individual player's ranking. That is to say, if your team gets more total points than the opposing team but you lost your best of 5 match then a lose will be recorded in the rankings for you.

Can each team member use the exact same combo?
In short, yes each team member can use the exact same combo.

How will teams be seeded?
There's no specific rules on team seeding but there are rules based on tournament format and number of players. That said we will be following the "Ranked Seeding for Group Round Robin" within the rules. "To create competitively balanced Groups with an even spread of higher and lower ranked participants," we will be seeding based on the combined total Bey Rank of the 3 players on the team. Teams with a lower combined total will be seeded higher, this will prevent potential "power" teams(teams of all higher ranked players) from being in a group with teams of all new players.

Unhappy oof
BuilderROB will be joining this tournament as co-host. As such I will be updating the tournament name and using the logo provided by him.
Also I've gotten a few questions on how the teams will be seeded, specifically whether it will be random groupings. Let me know if there's any questions on this.

I'm quite sure the people who paid that for that chip could care less about the cost... They probably operate on a different level than most lol
Feel free to form teams amongst yourselves and let BuilderROB and myself know that way we can start brackets.

Love the name so much

May I know why 1A VS 1B?

May I know why 1A VS 1B?
There’s a few reasons as to why:
1. My Hero Academia Season 5 is going to cover the joint training arc, or Class 1-A Vs. 1-B, so naming it as such was appropriate since this tournament is themed after season 5.
2. This tournament got that name because it is a couple weeks away from when MHA season 5 releases.
3. As you can probably see from the logo, the name is a pun: The class names for the classes that will be battling each other are 1-A and 1-B, and there are Beyblade chassis with those same names.

Oh I remember now, also I was looking at the rules you put in the description, could you tell me where you get those?
I have been looking for specific rules like that, the rulebook doesn't specifically dictate out how the match goes.
Or maybe I can't find it? Would you mind Pming me the Google doc you refer to for rules?
