At first I made this combo just to try against MF-H Basalt Kerbecs BD145CS. It did quite well, so I decided to test it against other things.

MF-H Basalt Kerbecs BD145CS - 30% Win rate (6 KO, 0 OS)
MF MLD GB145WD - 70% Win rate (14 OS, 0 KO) (MLD Shot first, both straight shots)

Most of the time when Kerbecs got KO's, Kerbecs knocked MLD up to the tornado ridge, and then Kerbecs got another hit, which knocked MLD out. Although, once or twice Kerbecs just got one hit to knock out MLD.

MF-H Basalt Kerbecs 230CS - 25% Win rate (3 OS, 2 KO)
MF MLD GB145WD - 75% Win rate (15 OS, 0 KO) (MLD Shot first, Both straight shots)

Occasionally, MLD got Destabilised, and that led to it being Outspun. Kerbecs couldn't knock MLD out because it only scraped the top of MLD's Clear wheel (So Kerbecs hit MLD's rubber).

While Basalt kerbecs BD145CS can be viewed as defence it is also balance too I think. And very hard to beat which makes this interesting. I think this would be very useful if it can beat Basalt combos consistently since the UK tourneys are quite dominated by them. I really need to get a Meteo L Drago.

I have yet to test it against Mid an low height Basalt combos. I'm not sure if I'd use this in a tourney though...

This shows some potential. The fact that it did as well as it did against Basalt customs is pretty notable. Will definitely have to try this once I get a MLD.

If this can truely go toe to toe with Basalt, then this is something to look into. Thanks for the tests.

I will test this ASAP. And you should use another MW for Attack. Vulcan is the best of Tier 2, but it's not top-tier anymore. Try Beat or Fang if you want Right spin attack to help with the spin steal.
