Last movie I watched was "DragonballZ The Return Of Cooler"
I seen the movie a couple of times now and I still laugh when Krillin tries to punch one of Cooler's robots and fails to do so, while Piccolo and Gohan are defeating countless numbers of them. Then when Krillin sees how Piccolo and Gohan are destroying them, he starts putting his energy into his punches and destroys one.

Film:Justin Beiber never say never
Vastly entertaining, funny, mediocre 3-D, nice celebrity appearances... All in all great movie.
What I really enjoyed about it though is that it isn't a movie that revolves around a plot. It is simply what he has been through up to date and a countdown to his performance in Madison Square Gardens. It was very entertaining and I can finally see why people are amazed by this person. He has a great personality and has a whole lot of talent and this film gave me an insight into this amazing person.

Over all rating: 9/10
I have given 9/10 because of the 3-D. Sure the ending was pretty cool with all the confetti flying around in your face but the 3-D was exactly good.

Dude and I just saw that movie : the backgrounds were all good, but so are Advent Children's. The characters were all completely unrealistic and dull though, and for that Advent Children is so much better, I do not even know how you can compare the level of eye-bleeding since there is none when watching Advent Children at all, but we definitely enjoyed laughing at Degeneration's lifeless graphics, stick figures, and just completely dull facial reactions.

When Leon and Angela were riding towards Curtis' house, it was hilarious. That is what you call dying of boredom. I understand that the characters are not hyper and lively, but that was just an empty situation, it looked so boring to be in that truck. They could have been dead with their eyes opened, seriously.
At some point near the end, a focus was done on Leon I think, but were we really expected to show compassion for him ? His eyes are lifeless, his expression showed absolutely nothing. Was he even lingering about anything ?


So, To, Advent Children definitely aged well, at least compared to almost all the other graphics movies including Resident Evil : Degeneration. Currently not much I have seen in terms of heavy editing surpasses it, except obviously Avatar.

Yeah, Resident Evil: Degeneration's graphics were pretty, but the characters had no emotions on their faces (Which was the case for Advent Children, I believe)

Other than that, it was ok. Story was predictable, music was average, characters were boring...It was Resident Evil.

But I can't believe they've wasted Michelle Ruff to do the voice of that little unimportant girl that has like four lines. Actually, everyone felt kinda miscast. The only one who was in the right place was Crispin Freeman, because he'd fit in almost any character.

The Green Hornet Grin.

Movie was funny, i mean, the WHOLE Movie was funny. Except, its short Unhappy . I love how Jay Chou acts, he speaks in a funny way xD. Especially the part where Green Hornet sleeps for 11 days xD.i

I just watched Hereafter.

What a pretentious little piece of defecated matter that was. I love Clint Eastwood, but that was just lame and boring (The worst combo ever)

Battle: Los Angeles

As a disclaimer if you despise shaky cam don't see this movie. You will hate it and say it sucks for that reason alone.

I loved his movie. I love seeing war movies anyway, but this was what I've been waiting for. The story is cliche, but let's face if, EVERY movje has a cliche story. I loved the way they approached this film though. In most Alien invasion films either the military is completely in effective or not mentioned at all, only to show up at the end and save the main characters. In Battle: LA wasn't he case, what I loved about this movie is that when the Marines make first contact with the aliens they have no idea how to kill them, and for the next two or three engagements they get one or two kills through complete guess work(i.e. Hit them with enough grenades and explosives, and eventually they will die). This method proves ultimately ineffective and results in numerous casualties. (The aliens also appear to kill humans using guess work, but their infantry weapons are more devastating, so they don't waste as much ammo.) One thing i have never seen in one of these types of movies occured while en route to their objective. The found a wounded alien and tried to figure out how to kill it, it took a while but they found the weak point and became far more effective at killing the aliens. The Marines while portrayed as strong were never shown to be invincible like in some films, or ineffective as in to many other films. The film is great and Aaron Eckhart did a great job in the film.

One hinge I feel the need to address is the appearance of he alien technology in he film. I absolutely love the fact that the Marines never tried to use alien guns(at one point it is discovered their weapons are surgically attached). Has anyone ever wondered how any regular old Joe Schmoe off he street would see an alien weapon and be able to fire it with no prior training? I don't think it would ever be like that, the average civilian wouldn't know how to fire human military guns so I doubt they'd be able to fire extraterrestrial guns.

I have also heard vast criticism of he alien ships for "looking like garbage". They really don't. They have a rustic design but I have never seen garbage that resembles that. I would seriously question any ship that resembles our technology, because the aliens are from a different planet with a different atmosphere, different gravity and different materials, they don't have to follow our designs to get an object into the air. He'll that could explain why all the Aliens crash landed when they first arrived on the planet.

I really enjoyed this film and reccomend I to fans of action, military, and science fiction.

i watched Gnomeo and Juliet (as a volunteer at a march break camp, so i didn't want to watch it in the first place)

it was bad, just bad. it had few funny moments, and allot of weird award moments (for kids, i heard at least 5 "eeew"s from the kids while watching it)

Well, that's because you don't like seeing the cliches but I could show you a large number of movies that are loved but cliche none the less. That and you hate shaky cam, which is an extreme turn of to many people. I can respect that, but I also realize very film vie seen has been done to death in the past.

I agree with you on this one, not only because I'm the only person in my friends group who disliked the film, but I mean, if you're going to invade earth then at least install some alien forcefields to their spaceships and to themselves...

Also, the people on earth in that film just reacted as if it's part of their daily lives to see aliens. But maybe i'm being hypocritical because i probably wouldn't have much reaction if i saw them in real life as well.

Two of my most favourite quotes in that film however and will stick in my head for quite a long time:

"This is what I've been preparing for." <--- Early of the film when they are just about to leave for battle.

"Don't worry, I'm a veterinarian." <--- "Autopsy" scene.

I would give that film a 3-4/10. Still better than watching True Grit.. that was boring.

EDIT: Shaky camera? HAH! that's NOTHING compared Cloverfield; to be honest, I did not even notice the shaky camera because of that Cloverfield film..

I recently watched all Friday the 13th films. Anyone who said that the old ones were better than the new one is a fool. NONE of them (and if you want to be really tough about it then include the latest one), and i mean NONE of them were even remotely scary. After the 6th film, it just became a "what if Jason..." sort of film.

First it was, "What if Jason fought a psychic"
Second, "What if Jason went to the city or out of town"
Third, I wanted to make, "What if Jason was black"
Fourth, "What if Jason travelled into the future and went to space"
Fifth, "What if Jason fought Freddy Kruger?"

I enjoyed "Jason vs Freddy" and "2009 version" so i'll leave those alone.

What if aliens don't have force fields? I loved that the aliens had to use conventional ammunition just like we do. Why assume that they have force fields? Just because H.G. Wells put force fields in his book War of the Worlds? We need to look at aliens differently. That's why people loved District 9, those aliens needed our help. They weren't the same a-hole aliens stealing our recources using giant orbital cannons and force fields to wipe our asses off the face of the earth. I like even small variations on these types of movies.

If they use conventionnal ammunation and don't have anything special to show off (i.e Force Fields, laser guns and the sort) then the aliens aren't a threat, anymore, they're just a bunch of lunatics with guns, like in a regular war. Therefore, the whole movie loses its fright impact (That those are aliens, superior to us)

Besides, if they don,t have any cool new scary weapons, then that just makes the military's reaction that much more pathetic.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

Although I love the later movies, I really liked the first two because they were definitely more brighter, at least to me.

The Chamber of Secrets is better than The Sorcerer's Stone though because Harry stabs a freaking sword in a humongous snake's mouth. EPIC.

And on a random note, I think Ron's voice dropped was to much between the first and second movie. CONTINUITY ERROR!
