L-Drago Guardian Discussion

CH120 should be the best track for Beat Lynx (or "cat") considering it is more versatile than any other attack-oriented track, which in necessary for a height-demanding wheel like Beat.
thx galaxy, nice results

ch120 an usefull high for ever attacker, but from my expirence beat is really better with df105 and gb145

Beat likes weight put in good places. GB145 puts weight in the best places on Beat. DF105 just puts it at a height it can do good things on to BD145 combos.

CH120 is not the correct answer for everything. It is, in fact, the absolute wrong answer for Beat.
Can do good thing with th170 and 230 track also
I've never had Beat do anything well on a track above GB145.

There is a reason I italicized 'should'!
DF105 is really underrated. I remember doing tests when it first came out and it was doing better than 85 for attack purposes.
What about S130? It works great on MF-H Beat Aquila S130RF
No matter what Deikailo says, I still think Lynx would be the most appropriate Clear Wheel for Beat.
Yeah, I remember S130 doing well in IKMV's initial tests.
Aquila is a poor choice for beat btw. Gets in the way.
I always thought Aquila worked well with it... Not as good as Lynx, but still pretty well.
I got a test done with MF VariAres BD145RF :

Standard Procedure
20 Rounds

MF-H L Drago Guardian BD145CS vs MF VariAres BD145RF (Left spin)

LDG : 7/20 ( 2 KO, 5 OS)
Vari : 13/20 (12 KOs, 1 OS)

Win rate for LDG :35 %

Surprising! I should say.

That's more than a little odd, given they're both on BD145. Try with RSF on LDG?
That even more odd with CS LDG doesn't even do good with CS...
Well, if it does bad with CS, then those results are perfect, right?
@th!nk- Well, I agree!
Well, I got an L-Drago Guardian Metal Frame and PC Frame today and I started playing around with it in its usual combos and I was pretty impressed with CH120XF, but I decided to do some random combos that included the only part that would make it even decent, BD145. And after using many different bottoms, I come across my RDF. I wasn't expecting much, but was hugely surprised with how well it did. After playing around with it for a while, I decided to do some official testing. Here it is Grin

MF-H L-Drago Guardian _____RDF Testing

Conditions:
BB-32 Attack Type Stadium (same as BB-10)
BB-32 Beylauncher
BB-98 Beylauncher Left
L-Drago Guardian in Absorb Mode(?) Whichever one has the end of the black sticking out a little bit Cute
Variares in Right Spin
Barely Used RDF
RF in its prime
TH170 at 170 Height

MF-H L-Drago Guardian BD145RDF vs. MF-H Variares R145RF
L-Drago: 15 (2 KO, 12 OS)
Variares: 5 (5 KO, 0 OS)
1 Draw, Redone
L-Drago Win Percentage: 75%

Yes, I know Variares isn't Senor Pwnsalot anymore, but it is still, at least, Senora Pwnsalot. I was impressed at how much of this wasn't JUST wall saves. So please, give me feedback and test it yourselves, because I am loving it.

MF-H L-Drago Guardian TH170RDF vs. MF-H Variares R145RF
L-Drago : 13 (2 KO, 11 OS)
Variares: 7 (7 KO, 0 OS)
5 Draws, All Redone
L-Drago Win Percentage: 65%

I decided to try out TH170, and this combo isn't so bad either! I don't know if I'm being the luckiest Irishmen alive with L-Drago Guardian, or not, but I know that I am launching Variares correctly. I read th!nk's posts about TH170RDF and he said it wasn't doing to well, yet didn't post results :\ So could somebody do those tests as well? This battle did have so many Draws though XD

Benchmark Test To Prove It I Can Launch Variares:
What spin direction..?

Man Vari is still señor pwnsalot.
Right Spin.
And lol, Flash is kind of kicking Variares of off its 1,000,000 foot throne that it's been sitting on for months XD
Can you do these same tests as well? I'm loving both of these combos, L-Drago Guardian certainly impressed me Cute
LDG hasn't arrived + use same spin, obviously.

No, Flash is just easier for many people to pick up which apparently isn't the same for VariAres. (I can get 19/20 vs. Basalt BD145 but Th!nk gets nowhere near that, which isn't dictated by skill)
When will it probably be coming?
And I've just edited the previous results, I've added Win Percentages.

MF-H L-Drago Guardian BD145RDF vs. MF-H Variares R145RF (Left)
L-Drago: 14 (10 KO, 4 OS)
Variares: 6 (6 KO, 0 OS)
3 Draws, All Redone
L-Drago Win Percentage: 70%

A lot more knockouts for obvious reasons..I saw most of the same things, except Variares hit harder because of the same direction spinning, yet L-Drago Guardian took the attacks like a champ...somehow Chocked_2

MF-H L-Drago Guardian TH170RDF vs. MF-H Variares R145RF (Left)
L-Drago : 11 (2 KO, 9 OS)
Variares: 9 (9 KO, 0 OS)
1 Draw, Redone
L-Drago Win Percentage : 55%

I was hoping that the results would be closer to when Variares was in Right Spin, but still, not bad at all!
Ugg. Well now we know this combo isn't very useful anymore.

MF-H L Drago Guardian BD145CS vs MF Flash (Attack Mode) Escolpio S130R2F
L Drago: 0/20
Flash: 20/20 (19 KO, 1 OS)

L Drago Guardian Win Rate: 0%

pftt.....this thing just got plain tossed....
Yeah, I tried some BD145CS and TH170CS tests and both were pretty horrible even if it was against Variares Tired
Do you have the necessary parts to try my tests? Or didn't I read a post of yours that said you didn't have Quetz?

MF-H L-Drago Guardian BD145RSF vs. MF-H Variares R145RF (Left)
L-Drago: 12 (8 KO, 4 OS)
Variares: 8 (8 KO, 0 OS)
3 Draws, All Redone
L-Drago Win Percentage: 60%

MF-H L-Drago Guardian TH170RSF vs. MF-H Variares R145RF (Left)
L-Drago : 7 (2 KO, 5 OS)
Variares: 13 (13 KO, 0 OS)
1 Draw, Redone
L-Drago Win Percentage : 35%

I'd still like other people to try these tests :\
I don't see how Relic got his results, but then again, not everybody is a great attack user (not saying I am, just saying that everybody may not be).
Try CH120 on VariAres.
MF-H L-Drago Guardian BD145RSF vs. MF-H Variares CH120RF (Left)
L-Drago: 13 (7 KO, 6 OS)
Variares: 7 (7 KO, 0 OS)
0 Draws
L-Drago Win Percentage: 65%

Not surprising that a BD145 combo did better against a CH120 combo...
I've found that Vari does decently on S130. Would some testing of MF-H LDG BD145RB vs MF-H Vari S130R2F be okay? All of my RFs are reallllly worn, lol.
