Okay, at long last, this thread.
There's probably a good reason no one made it yet: It's really basically LDrago Destroy, but slightly prettier.
I'm afraid I only have the one test for you at the moment, it was honestly so disappointing that it was depressing to watch.
Everything is standard conditions, you all know me by now.
Here's a little Calibration test with L-Drago Destroy, so you have something to compare to:
MF LDrago Destroy D125RF vs MF-H Basalt Aquario GB145CS
LDD: 5/20 (25%) All KO
Basalt: 15/20 (75%), 8 OS, 7KO
And here's LDrago Guardian:
MF L Drago Guardian D125RF vs MF-H Basalt Aquario GB145CS
LDG: 4/20 (20%) (All KO)
Basalt: 16/20,(80%) 10 OS, 6 KO
Both were done with whatever the mode is that reveals the plastic and has rubber under the heads.
Not really a significant difference, they perform basically identical. Both are inconsistent, but do get large hits every so often.
I'm going to try a spin stealer later, I just need to figure out what to try it against, but I want to test Duo, seeing as it's supposed to be the standout part of the set. Honestly, if you want to know how it does against something, just see how LDrago Destroy does against it.
So yeah, LDD 2: Electric Boogaloo, have at ye!
MF LDrago Guardian BD145MF (Rubber Exposed) (Tornado Stall) vs MF-H Basalt Aquario BD145CS
Launches Alternated, as I think this is fairest on both here. Basalt Launched first R1
Note: Between my launch not always being the steadiest, basalt’s imbalance, and my CS, Basalt often heads to the tornado ridge at the start of the battle, meaning they collide. Basically, my Basalt is hard to TS. :\
Only 10 Rounds, it was academic.
Basalt: 100%, 9 OS, 1 KO
LDG: 0%
Draws: 2 Spin (R2,3), 1DKO (R7)
MF LDrago Guardian BD145MF (Rubber Exposed)(Sliding Shot) vs MF-H Basalt Aquario BD145CS
Basalt Launched first EVERY round.
Again, only 10 rounds.
Basalt: 10/10 (100%): 9OS, 1KO
LDG: 0%
Draws: 2 Spin (R1,3)
L Drago Guardian ED145EDS (Rubber Exposed) vs MF-H Basalt Aquario BD145CS
LDG Launched first, Basalt Launched Aggressively (for a somewhat loose, flower pattern-esque movement).
Ten Rounds here because I wanted to get at least one Duo Test done tonight, SORRY! :C
Basalt: 7/10 (70%) (4 OS, 3KO)
LDG: 3/10 (30%) (2OS, 1KO)
Draws: 1 (Spin)
Still a bad matchup for LDG.

Always close, but basalt either has better balance or a slight advantage in LAD. BD145 may be limiting contact, look into alternatives. CH120XF might work here, will need to investigate tomorrow.
In the second of those spin draws, the battle progressed like a standard effective tornado stall, but basalt managed to equalise towards the end and regain balance to draw it.
That said, LDG does push basalt around a bit, but it’s more nudging. Hm.

LDG has the weight and momentum to push basalt around, but KOing it is, as usual, out of reach.
Given my CS is a bit on the aggro side (which doesn’t seem to affect its stamina severely), it can get KO’s or disrupt LDG’s movement. May retry with MB when I get time…
The OS’s are close, but again, Basalt has better stamina.

Keep in mind, LDG is in a stamina setup here, so it has an inherent advantage.
All matches very close, if LDG did win, it was by a fraction of a second.
LDG still doesn’t expose its rubber well enough IMO :\
