ILLINOIS BLADERS, WE NEED YOU!
Hello Illinois bladers! Welcome to the 2nd Illinois Tournament Interest Thread! If you would like to know about the first Illinois Interest thread, go
here
Two HUGE rules to go over for tournaments:
#1: NO STEALING. If you steal, you will be banned from the World Beyblade Organization, tournaments, and will do anything in my power for more concequences. A second offence or coming to our tournaments after being banned will make me contact the police.
#2: NO BULLYING. In Illinois, we joke around a lot, but bullying of ANY kind will NOT be tolerated. If I see this happening, I will force you to leave the tournament and suspend you for two tournaments as a first offence.
IF YOU ARE A GUEST VIEWING THIS AND WOULD LIKE TO COME, REGISTER ON THE WBO AND POST HERE!
But what if I'm not from this area?Remember, everyone is welcome!
Is there an age limit? That's the great thing about the WBO, there is no age limit!

But What's Limited Format?!
Limited Format is a new format made by the WBO that bans some beyblade parts. Here is the First Ban List

WHEELS- All Synchroms (NOTE: Non-Synchromed Zero-G wheels are legal!)
- All 4D/Hyperblade Metal Wheels
- Basalt
- Hell

BOTTOMS
This is the first ban list, meaning all banned parts are new.[/list]
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
[*]All 4D/Hyperblade Metal Wheels
While not as bad as Synchroms, most 4D wheels are far heavier than this format's ideal weight, and as such these metal wheels are banned. Note that this only includes the metal wheels from Takara Tomy/Sonokong's "4D" series and Hasbro's "Hyperblade" series; Hasbro's "Metal Fury" metal wheels ARE legal, as they weigh substatially less. Also note that other parts of 4D beyblades, such as their tracks, tips, clear wheels, etc. ARE legal; only the metal wheels are banned!
-=-=-
[*]Basalt
Compared to the rest of our meta, Basalt is extremely heavy. When it was first released it dominated the metagame, and some argue it should have been banned prior to the release of the 4D series (a series whose weight creep is likely mostly due to Basalt's presence, in fact). If it were legal in this format it would almost certainly dominate, and as such it is banned.
-=-=-
[*]Hell
This might seem like an odd choice, but Hell is very heavy compared to the rest of the Limited meta and is better at just about everything than other Limited wheels. As such, at risk of it becoming a dominant wheel, it finds a spot on the ban list.

TRACKS- BD145
Ever since BD145's release, tracks with huge plastic disks tended to dominate the metagame. They are not only extremely heavy; they also provide nigh-impenetrable defense against low attackers, and generally shut out any attacker using a wheel that falls within the ideal Limited weight range. Because they would make defense far too dominate in the Limited meta, all of the tracks based on large plastic disks are banned, which obviously includes BD145.
-=-=-
- SA165
This is banned simply because it is based on a large plastic disk, which makes it both too heavy and too powerful for the Limited meta. See BD145's explanation for detailed reasons why this is banned.
-=-=-
- E230
This is banned simply because it is based on a large plastic disk, which makes it both too heavy and too powerful for the Limited meta. See BD145's explanation for detailed reasons why this is banned.
-=-=-
- SP230
This is banned simply because it is based on a large plastic disk, which makes it both too heavy and too powerful for the Limited meta. See BD145's explanation for detailed reasons why this is banned.

BOTTOMS- RS
This bottom is banned because it is far too powerful for defense, such that it can completely stonewall every Limited attacker that tries to KO it. For the sake of balancing the four main types of Beyblade against each other, this bottom is banned from Limited play.
-=-=-
- RB
This bottom is banned for the same reasons RS is banned: it is far too powerful for defense, such that it can completely stonewall every Limited attacker that tries to KO it. For the sake of balancing the four main types of Beyblade against each other, this bottom is banned from Limited play.
-=-=-
- RDF
This bottom has the same ability to stonewall Limited attackers as RS and RB, and it comes with the added bonus of hosing opposite-spin as well. As such, it is far too powerful, and is thus banned from Limited play.
